Whether Houston was average or Houston had won the Brownlow in 2025, doesn't change that the trade was shit and is still shit in retrospect. That he's now playing average football, in a changed role that doesn't suit him or his side as well doesn't change we got way unders for him.How are people feeling about the Houston trade 12 months on?
Essentially it is going to work out to be
Lukosius, Richards, Berry & Whitlock for Houston & Dyson Sharp
I'm not mad at the outcome at all.
Would have been an extremely good outcome if we didn't capitulate this season

Now that you can see it laid out like that. Still baffles me that the Crows didn't think AhChee for Pick 21 was pretty fair? let alone the further watered down deals Brisbane offered.AFL LATE MAIL PHANTOM DRAFT

Phantom Draft late mail: Intrigue over Tigers' picks, Bombers' big haul
Draft guru Cal Twomey reveals the last-minute draft whispers ahead of the 2025 AFL Draftwww.afl.com.au
What makes it worse is we got fk’d over by a bunch of meter maids.Whether Houston was average or Houston had won the Brownlow in 2025, doesn't change that the trade was shit and is still shit in retrospect. The only two times I can think of GC winning trades is we overpaid for Dixon, then overpaid for Luko. That we were seen as such a soft touch over the Davies/Hinkley era for trades, that even GC screwed us, was yet another reason heads should have rolled, not allowed to leave on their own terms. What makes it worse is we got fk’d over by a bunch of meter maids.
How pathetic.
How dare you!let the houston trade go.

I’m over him he was just a great leg really you nullify that he’s just a squad bod.let the houston trade go.
Yep it goes on longer than Home & away.Tonight's first round draft is going to go for a very long time!
Wonder if the guernsey will get off the hanger?
Several clubs do not have a first-round pick so are unlikely to feature at Marvel Stadium, but AFL.com.au's Cal Twomey is reporting Paul Licuria (Collingwood), Josh Carr (Port Adelaide) and Ross Lyon (St Kilda) will be present and do the honours if a shock pick swap is orchestrated to bring those clubs into the first round of the draft.
Pretty close (85), can see it now some old coot wondering around like a lost sheep on stage wearing a Melbourne jumper.Geez, Hassa Mann must be about 103 by now.
I know about the 2 years @1.4M and its true, but can't confirm if the payment across the deal is the same but I think it would be because usually these kind of deals only change in terms of structure rather than total salary. Its a dangerous play but one I'd take if I were Crows. Not one I'd take as Port.Addy23 is it true that Ah Chee deal with the crows is the total payment of the deal the same as they offer him before but they only change the structure of the contract where they only pay him 2yrs @ 1.4M then pay him 700k for the rest of the deal?
Don't think so, there'll be 30 picks on night 2 and 25 on night 1 I thinkWith all the bids in the first round, will this be the first draft where there are more picks taken on night 1 than night 2?
I don't think he can be a full time contested mid at AFL level. I see him having similar attributes to Zac BaileyPeucker looks more like a contested mid than a small forward, there will be other options if we want to take a pick
Bit harsh. Dixon 3 time PAFC leading goalkicker, 2nd in the Coleman and All Australian. Luko 1 season completely stuffed by injury.
