That would have been nice but we're a year off minimum with the coach situation so we've got time to develop the mids before having a real crack in 2027

Im sorry but the academy bidding is bs and the AFL yet again are being proven to be ****ing amateur and embarrassing themselves. A club should only be able to match one bid a draft, thats it! right now GC are making a mockery of this. Its a joke and frankly the academy system must ****ing go. The points system is clearly still too easy for manipulation. What a horrible look.

But…. We need academies otherwise these kids will be going to the NRL

Would you have paid 3 1st rounders for petracca? And given him an extension and pay rise? Traded a pick and keane for sanders? Taken oliver and potentially cause culture problems? Used 2 first rounders to trade with carlton on the chance that sharp wasnt even there? Any other options you wouldve done that the other clubs wouldve accepted?

There's alot riding on the shoulders of young Draper and Curtin.
