So Mitch Marsh and Max Michalanney are Father/Sons (sort of)
Are we limited to alliterative F/S selections in the AFL by-laws?
If you're counting Marsh as a F/S surely you have to count Jimmy Rowe as well?

2026…November 30
That's our 55 isn't it, 48 got tradedHas come in to 46
You add those 2 and Rankine into a midfield mix and it looks a whole heap better.Hard to believe that supporters are still saying this after one of the worst finals midfield performances in the history of the AFL.
There's alot riding on the shoulders of young Draper and Curtin.

Id be giving Taylor a shot in there, showed a bit
But…. We need academies otherwise these kids will be going to the NRL
I couldn’t care less
Sorry mate but you’ve got this one wrong.Marsh is a very underwhelming selection , what a shit night
Miss out on trading for Sharp , Dovaston goes at the other pick we could’ve had a dip at
Rachele tooDraper, Curtin, Edwards, Taylor, Pedlar. Four first rounders in that bunch.
Any of Talor Byrne, Riley Onley or Liam Hetherton.Mutineer I'm sure you're getting tagged into a bunch of posts at the moment but who's on your wish list for our next pick based on how the cards have fallen so far?
But the mid coach remainsWe are shit at developing midfielders, but we've drafted LOADS of them
A rare miss by youMarsh is a very underwhelming selection , what a shit night

Curtin definitely. Draper hopefully.Draper, Curtin, Edwards, Taylor, Pedlar. Four first rounders in that bunch.
What's a realistic timeline for Marsh in terms of playing AFL?Sorry mate but you’ve got this one wrong.
For pick 22 in a lesser draft we nailed it.
Did not see a trade, but thanks! That's our 55 isn't it, 48 got traded
Nup! No lubeUm gently I hope
There is no doubt we need another mid. There are a few experienced ones we might have a crack at next year which will provide more in the short to medium term than a draftee. Sanders, Bailey, who knows. Viva la Mattner thinks we are into someone decent i think. It may end up being a masterstroke keeping our F1Hard to believe that supporters are still saying this after one of the worst finals midfield performances in the history of the AFL.

He'll have had 4 beers by the lunch break, then get subbed in for a quickfire 50What's a realistic timeline for Marsh in terms of playing AFL?
We keep Tex, trade in Finbar, re-rookie Welsh..... And then draft in Marsh, whilst we have TT and Fog in their primes....
??
Im just confused at this point
He’s not for next year. Tex will be gone and Maley (different player anyway) on a one year deal. Welsh very unlikely to make it as well.We keep Tex, trade in Finbar, re-rookie Welsh..... And then draft in Marsh, whilst we have TT and Fog in their primes....

Had more centre clearances than most of our mids in 1 QUARTER in the finalsIn the SANFL? Sure.
Zac has absolutely no business being in the midfield at AFL level based on his last four years in the bigs.
What's a realistic timeline for Marsh in terms of playing AFL?
Curtin definitely. Draper hopefully.
The other three might not even be on our list in 2027.
