Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Can he play key B/F ?Emmett's draft profile describes him as a very good runner?
Not nessecarily. Depends on the system. We should be ok unless the AFL go the nuclear option. Nuclear is 2 picks to match, no deficit, no discount. That'd make it tough even with our assets. Hopefully it doesnt come to that.We have 2 2026 firsts, 2 2027 firsts and a 2026 2nd tied to Norf. We have pick 1 covered.

Would not mind those names, Thredgold and Dean could lock up our defensive unit for years.Blake Thredgold
Jevan Phillipou
With two clubs unable to match bids in the first round, you'd hope the AFL grow a brain and see that any further changes should at least be delayed a few years. Not nessecarily. Depends on the system. We should be ok unless the AFL go the nuclear option. That is 2 picks to match, no deficit, no discount. That'd make it realistic tough even with our assets.
We'd need more than that.
Pick 1 is 3000 points minus 10% is 2700.
Pick 10 is 1276. 11 is 1205. That's 2481.
10 and 8 would get it done. If Swans are top 3, that's 15 and 5. But they will be pushed back through free agency. I think it's probable we have to trade up using other picks.
HOF better prospect than Thredgold for mineWould not mind those names, Thredgold and Dean could lock up our defensive unit for years.
The brain part is where they might struggleWith two clubs unable to match bids in the first round, you'd hope the AFL grow a brain and see that any further changes should at least be delayed a few years.

Not going to happen, the raging favourite (I would say unbackable the odds are so low) is no changes at all.Not nessecarily. Depends on the system. My idea is that we trade away players we don’t need for extra first round picks.

With two bids unmatched tonight they'd probably be saying it's working ok nowNot going to happen, the raging favourite (I would say unbackable the odds are so low) is no changes at all.
I know we've been desperate for some flogs in our team... But I'm not sure I can handle that much flogI’m warming to taking Phillipou as payback.
I’d rather a Ludowyke than a Greeves. But what would I know.
Does CD ever not wear a jacket?
Agree, no surprises. Feels like we’ve been talking about how good Cody has played over the last couple years, since U16s.We've known for at least 2 years now that Cody is an absolute gun. The changes suck but we'd have been planning on banking points no matter what the rules end up being.
Going to the PSDCallum Ah Chee still on board ...
