Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Walker is a very tall 3rd tall. Thilthorpe replaced Walker this year so we've end up playing a very tall forward line. Ideally someone like Ah Chee who is a very good mark for his height provide a better structure.Ah Chee is 182 cm, he is not a Tex replacement
Happy with that trade - Essendon has to be a bottom 4 candidatePost in thread '2025 Provisional AFL Draft Order (live based on ladder and trades)' https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/thre...ed-on-ladder-and-trades.1388116/post-90274638

We need there head of recruitmentIt’s actually a disgrace, Gold Coast just throw away first rd picks and then get handed more
Just move the club to Queensland. Then we could do Gold Coast camps every year.We need there head of recruitment
More like Angwin then?Apparently has very sticky fingers, so not like our Himmelberg at all
There will be a better midfielder prospect next year when we use pick 10.I dont mind MM at that pick, we'll find out if he's any good in 4 years...
The disappointment is we didn't get NWM or any midfielder done in the trade period, and then seems we liked a player in sharp in the draft and we didn't get that done either. That's classic crows not moving the dial in terms of the big picture.
Cool, we can keeping going with the same set-up thenI wouldn’t
15 is the low end for sureAh Chee for me replaces one of Pedlar or Z Taylor in our forward line.
If it’s Pedlar, Luke’s crows career is pretty much over, unless we do retain Pedlar and Tex is the one to give way for Ah Chee as you’ve hypothesised - I don’t hate that.
If it’s Taylor, it frees Zac up to play in the midfield, where he is blatantly a better option than Sam Berry, who is objectively terrible.
If we’re purely talking 2026 Tex replacements, I’d say that would be either going smaller as you’ve said, OR it ends up being Brayden Cook, who absolutely has the lethal leg, but struggles to get enough of the ball up forward at AFL level and might not even be retained on our list in 12 months.
Let’s be serious, Nicks will roll Tex out for 15 games plus won’t he. Ugh.
He's the one. Rather than waiting for our pick at 42 we should package F2+42+48 for WC 28 and get in early. We're not using 48 this draft anyway, although we might get a future 4th for itFor those with a desperate need for a midfielder Riley Onley is still on the board, what's to lose if he's still there at our pick, he's the only mid left on the board Rookie Me rate his ceiling as ELITE, Has all the tools size, power, speed, athleticism, clean hands to be a star if he wants it bad enough.

Riley Onley Draft Profile
Murray Bushrangers midfielder Riley Onley possesses power and speed at 195cm, providing a point of difference among this year's crop.central.rookieme.com
Would stir memories of a younger Tex!Morris is the same height and a gun already.
Watch the kid kick a goal from 55 and you’ll change your tune.
We have neither 42 nor 48.He's the one. Rather than waiting for our pick at 42 we should package F2+42+48 for WC 28 and get in early. We're not using 48 this draft anyway, although we might get a future 4th for it

He'll be more reliable than Draper.Surprised essendon knocked our offer back. Missing out on Sharp is a real bummer. I think he'll be better than Draper.
I don’t think either of them will set the world on fire.Surprised essendon knocked our offer back. Missing out on Sharp is a real bummer. I think he'll be better than Draper.
Last I checked it's a forum for throwing out opinions pea nut but good on ya!Why do you bother posting this garbage here ?? No one cares what you think and we all see though your bullshit.
We'd hope we had pick 18 or so next year! There will be a better midfielder prospect next year when we use pick 10.
You sound confident so probably the other clubs did as well. Would you have offered pick 16 and F1 for Melbourne's pick 12 with nothing coming back? We'd hope we had pick 18 or so next year!
