Would be very surprising if we get another tall forward (ie Cody Curtin) now

North Adelaide midfielder Blake Oodshourn-Bennier a possible shout for our next pick? What is his proposed draft range?

I dont mind MM at that pick, we'll find out if he's any good in 4 years...

The disappointment is we didn't get NWM or any midfielder done in the trade period, and then seems we liked a player in sharp in the draft and we didn't get that done either. That's classic crows not moving the dial in terms of the big picture.

There will be a better midfielder prospect next year when we use pick 10.

Ah Chee for me replaces one of Pedlar or Z Taylor in our forward line.

If it’s Pedlar, Luke’s crows career is pretty much over, unless we do retain Pedlar and Tex is the one to give way for Ah Chee as you’ve hypothesised - I don’t hate that.

If it’s Taylor, it frees Zac up to play in the midfield, where he is blatantly a better option than Sam Berry, who is objectively terrible.

If we’re purely talking 2026 Tex replacements, I’d say that would be either going smaller as you’ve said, OR it ends up being Brayden Cook, who absolutely has the lethal leg, but struggles to get enough of the ball up forward at AFL level and might not even be retained on our list in 12 months.

Let’s be serious, Nicks will roll Tex out for 15 games plus won’t he. Ugh.
15 is the low end for sure
Barring injury tex plays. Will be rested a couple of times. Marsh might get a game or 2
Pedlar is my bet to be the one that misses out

For those with a desperate need for a midfielder Riley Onley is still on the board, what's to lose if he's still there at our pick, he's the only mid left on the board Rookie Me rate his ceiling as ELITE, Has all the tools size, power, speed, athleticism, clean hands to be a star if he wants it bad enough.

He's the one. Rather than waiting for our pick at 42 we should package F2+42+48 for WC 28 and get in early. We're not using 48 this draft anyway, although we might get a future 4th for it

If we wanted sharp we wouldve had to have traded with Carlton before the draft, when it wasn't certain he be available. And if the bombers had seen us do that, they probably wouldve taken him at one of their earlier picks before us anyway. Could've gotten dovaston then I guess but would the price have been worth 2 1sts? We might need the f1 next year to get a sanders or other player we have our eyes on

Why do you bother posting this garbage here ?? No one cares what you think and we all see though your bullshit.

They are our next two picks in this draft after the bids were completed

No, it's 46 and 54 (AFL site).

Whatever, re your proposal, it would certainly take something like that to get up there, so it would have to be worth it, as we would be butchering next year.

Obviously, we should be trying 46, 54, and something we won't be using next year to get as high as we can, but I doubt that achieves too much.
