I see Dawson.

Rookie Me Draft profile
Jordan Dawson (general forward, Sturt)
The positives: Dawson just loves to kick goals. A 190 cm medium forward, he leads to the right spots and just understands how to work in a forward line. He’s kicked bags for fun in the SANFL reserves this year, having had 27 shots in his four SANFL reserves games thus far. He’s a good mark of the football and covers the ground well. He’s also grown an inch since the start of the year, going from 187 to 190 cm – if he keeps growing he could turn into a genuine key forward prospect.

The negatives: Kicking. Dawson misses a lot of shots, with 12.15 in reserves this year. He’s just got to be more efficient with his kicking. At his current size he’s also in that ‘tweener’ zone where he’s not really a small but not a key forward either. He can make it as that third tall type but some growth would help him.

Production: 8/10
Potential: 7/10
Size: 7/10
Overall: 20/30

He's a Crows supporter?

Out of all the players in our premiership sides, I would not have picked Ben Marsh to be the one to have a son that is actually very good at football.

Hope he plays 250+ games for us.
If I recall correctly Ben used to wear bicycle pants or similar back in the 90’s.

Can we draft Richard Hadley as well from Brisbane.

Just saw the Rookie Me highlights and happy with his look

My only concern and something opposition coaches will work on his is 'weakness' on his left side. Might need to start switching between left and right

He has a ' Buddy ' hook at times and if I coach against him I would instruct the defender/player on him to sit on his left side

But otherwise for his pick area he seems ok

More footage (our highlight reel sucks as usual) including a couple of games on the wing

We're back underway for another year of Champs action. The highly fancied Allies went down at home to SA in a game that was tight and tense throughout but didn't demonstrate the highest of skill level.

Mitch Marsh stood out with his ability to hit the scoreboard and deliver a ball to his teammates advantage. His hands were clean overhead, he kicked 4 goals of his own and he was involved in a number of scoring chains, directly assisting a few other goals for his teammates.

Marsh has been one of the most significant draft risers across this Champs series, leading the goal kicking for a dominant SA team that stomped the competition. The features of his game were all on display here, able to find space to lead up at the ball carrier, clunk marks on a full speed lead ala Mathew Lloyd, and capable of converting from anywhere with his elite set shot kicking.

Marsh has rocketed up draft boards over the last month and a half on the back of an extremely strong Champs campaign. Here we see him back playing SANFL U18s for West Adelaide and putting together a solid performance with his strong marking and penetrating left boot featuring strongly.

Mitch Marsh continued with his change of roles in this one, playing mostly as a tall marking wingman with a few stints in the ruck and only a couple of rotations forward. It's an interesting move which suits his strengths and looks great when it works, but seems not to be entirely natural for Mitch yet who can get lost at times. With his status as a first round pick cemented due to his fantastic Champs campaign it's not a bad idea to experiment and show prospective clubs that he has some versatility to his game.

The Bison continued with his dual wing and forward line role and seems to be becoming more comfortable in it over time. He was everywhere, taking marks as an outlet around the ground and deeper forward to set up goal scoring opportunities. He booted three and could have had more if his set shot kicking had been more accurate.

No obvious position at AFL level.

I reckon for a late first rounder he looks good though
Marsh looks more like a lead-up forward, rather than a contested player ....that's a tough gig at AFL level

Let's hope he has a better work effort than his dad ....who, for his undoubted talent, was one of the laziest footballers I've seen

Marsh gives me vibes of a Bayley Fritsch style FWD ....as others have said though, we won't know for 3 years min

Could he end up playing that forward connector role similar to Tom Lynch ? Sounds like he has the athletic ability. Also a better kick of course.
