Mid/wing is fine for now? I haven’t seen much of him but the description of his strengths sounds a bit like Ollie Dempsey.Don't forget Ah Chee....
I feel once Tex retires we may not run with the current model.
Ah Chee plays both small and tall.
I do think Marsh will be more of a mid/wing type.
AND Welsh during SANFL Games where learning is in real timeLike Welsh yeah?

And every single AFL club passed him over. If every club did that he obviously had talent issues...Its not like Pav entered the first draft.
Clubs were allowed to select one underage younger player who wasn't draft eligible. We chose McGregor over Pav.
They compared him to Mason Wood last nightHe looks like a good get, Tyler Welsh won't amount to anything IMO so Marsh is the type of player we need.
I hate the comparisons of players "he plays like Jeremy Cameron, he plays like Andrew McLeod" nobody every compares a draftee to an bog average plodder "he plays like Ben Holland" "he plays like Steven Salopek"
Bowled GarrrrrryDie-hard.

Was just thinking exactly the same thing. Hopefully it puts a fire under Tyler (should we re-rookie him).Probably worst case scenario for Tyler Welsh. Have a feeling Bisons work rate and play style will make Tyler look very pedestrian.
Hope hes working VERY hard this offseason for his sake
Nailed itHe was crucified by the umpires, thats for sure
The Irony.Nailed it
Yeah but the writing is on the wall with Welsh. great at junior level but thats about itLike Welsh yeah?
I think he's unfit looks to be too chubby still.Yeah but the writing is on the wall with Welsh. great at junior level but thats about it
Who was thatfunny how he'll become the 2nd Crows player to play when their father did but we didn't draft either of them through the father-son rule

He was assigned to Darren JarmanLike Welsh yeah?
RoweWho was that
Jarman
Edwards
Welsh
Were all drafted as Father Son.
Who am i forgetting
Welsh doesn’t look suited to the modern game - looks and old style footballerWelsh is done. Can't see us playing both Welsh and Marsh at AFL level together in our forward line. I reckon he gets delisted end of next year with little fanfare
My worry now is that Welsh peaked at 16 (playing against 16 year olds). If they both reached their absolute best, then they could play in the same side as they are very different types of players.
BUT, this pick does absolutely put a lot of pressure on both Welsh and Cook.

Will we be using 2 picks tonight or just the 1?Hamish and his crew obviously saw him as a high half forward/winger too which is where a lot of us had him pegged....Isaac Smith won a Norm Smith...![]()
According to Hamish likely only 1Will we be using 2 picks tonight or just the 1?
