Opinion Concept: 2 Day Draft For Fans

Hello

I don't post on this board often but I've come up with an idea which I think the AFL will love.

The draft goes for 2 days, and it's recently been floated that trading be done live.


I've taken this brilliant idea and converted it for draft day – something the fans would absolutely love.

Concept:
2 day draft (like now, with a movie length first round).

Then, fans can camp on Telstra Dome's surface with their swag, maybe theres a performance by The Veronicas etc. Turn it into an overnight camping experience for fans. Similar to Bathurst.

Obvioiusly need to cross some t's and dot some i's but I reckon it's close

The draft cant be like American sports because nobody knows who the players are, unlike in USA with college

They have massive draft day parties for the NFL draft.

They have a lot of fans at the draft itself that make a lot of noise when picks are made.
