Ludowyke off the board finally, they must feel his body is chalk and will struggle to put muscle on.

Or he kills puppies, who knows
We had Byrne in the top 10 of our draft board. Stoked to get him here.
If that's genuine we need new recruiters.

He's a clever footballer and wins ball he has no right to, but he's not going to be a difference maker inside 50 or regularly at a stoppage.
So what’s that?

Dean Byrne Ison and a couple of future picks from 9 & 11

Not bad
Plus our later picks that basically came back around again, it's a nervously ok result pending what we do at pick 70.

Did we trade out pick 50?

Byrne can run through the middle moreso than Durdin.

Had plenty of games getting 20+ for the rebels.

His ceiling is high i reckon, think Neale type in the middle or Weightman as a forward.

His floor is delisted in 2 years without playing a game.

Interesting all the bids are coming now, it’s like teams were willing to bid on high end talent but later talent they just took off the board and have taken care of each other. Now just making sure they don’t get to rookie them. Maybe clubs don’t do the work on later f/s and academy players and have players they want earmarked and don’t think too much about it as the point process becomes irrelevant
