Lij is different. More versatile and infinitely more talented. Depends what the club makes of his situation.

Although if either sign onto our VFL list they wouldn't need to occupy a train on spot.

I think we were always going to give Elijah one last chance, the delisting might just be the kick in the ass he needed (we can only hope).

He has such immense talent we just need to back ourselves in to get him right.
If it burns us again so be it and then sever ties completely but he’s a genuine needle mover when he’s up and going

Durdin averaged 21 disposals in the SANFL U18s.

We didn’t exactly run Durdin through the midfield to find out if he could amass possessions- unless you’re suggesting he averaged those numbers as a small forward.

Saint took Shoenmakers last year with external concerns … could see them taking a punt on Greeves.

They liked Josh Smillie last year also - so could see them pull the trigger.

Shoenmakers was delisted this year, so maybe they’ve learned a lesson.

Eddie Betts still has more talent in his little toe than our entire small forward line. Don't mind Byrne but we still are a long way from Betts, Garlett, Yarran.

Eddie Betts is arguably the greatest small forward of all time. His most damaging work was done at Adelaide but Garlett and Eddie were absolute dynamite for us pre malthouse.

Can’t bomb it long down the line to a tall if you have no talls. It’s been our bail out option for so long now, it’ll be interesting to see how we go about changing that.

No arguments re Eddie. #1 in the fan club.
