Of course there will be, and they will get more 1st and 2nd round picks for those spoiled players they can spend on more Petraccas, while getting more academy kids to kerp the wheel rolling.

The system is DESIGNED to make it so they can't do thought down every again.

I hate them so much. If they were paying Geelong or Essendon in a gf - well Geelong, you've got to be realistic - I would be supporting Geelong.

I hope they never win a thing
Had a couple of beers aye.

The one time our NGA produces a consensus first round talent and our application gets knocked back and goes undrafted.

****ing lol

Pity the application was rejected, would have been funny to see the dopers bid on him in the top 10

Couldn't have been a top pick considering they didn't even nominate him
It was only May this year that I had some pies supporters on the main board trying to tell me that their list was not close to the cliff because they would get at least one of LDU, Rowell or Richards and then draft McGaune in the first round.

LOLZA

i still believe greeves was worth a 4th, but no team wanted him, i expect him to go well i the u19, i thing this was a miss since we sent butler to the shadow realm, just interesting to see a kid to go from a top 20 pic to undrafted but im not sam mitchell but i hope he goes well onwards

Interesting

We got 2 U18 AA's - LeRay and Schubert and could have had three if we had picked Greeves. There must be something very amiss with him.
WOW that’s a lot of undrafted players from an AA team

By my count, 1 in 3 players drafted were tied to a club that had priority access to them. And people are worried about the 2027 draft being compromised, sheesh 🙄
After all the pre draft talk during trade week about how weak the 2025 draft class is, there will still the same total of picks as every other season

Can’t be that bad

gee whizz, I wonder what went wrong with Greeves? He was touted as a top 10 pick not long ago
He is slow as buggery.

An oversized lump of a kid that dominates juniors due to his size but lacks athletic attributes to play modern AFL footy - emphasis on running two ways and ability to spread to create space.

His attributes in under 18 footy do not translate to senior AFL.

The onus is on him to build his tank and pace. Mitchell and Newc didn't get drafted until 21 y.o. so has time on his side. Good luck to the kid.

Agree with everything you said but Newk was 19 when drafted.

Once it got past the top 6 picks, and Cumming who I rate so highly, the next band of picks I'm not really expecting blue chip. Although I do think Xavier Taylor will be a legit gun defender in a Maynard and Hardwick mold of making others walk taller.

I think we've done exceptionally well, and can afford to more then clubs picking above us, by taking 3 players we can be patient with and who have huge upside.

Dalton can legit play by Rd 6 and I'm shocked he was available there
