Yeah, it's 3 senior list changes and they promoted 3 rookies in the offseason already.

They’re upgrading 3 players from their rookie list to the main list which fulfills the AFL list requirements

Bit of a dumb rule but that’s not uncommon for the AFL

They threw that match, out of sympathy for the occasion but in hindsight obviously also for what was to come. Slick operators the Saints list management team. [Btw you forgot to add traded the antichrist to us in 2013 after one terrifying season on their list under the wing of our future head coach. Must of had a feeling they'd eventually select Charlie after watching his debut Auskick season, one of the all time long cons. Incredible]

Very happy to call out mistakes by the club and have done so many times, in this thread and elsewhere.

I like footy. I like looking forward to it. I like looking to the future for when the wheel will turn again. Not sure why people who are angry in our Premiership seasons even bother with the hobby.

Finding shit to cry about when we’re romping it in isn’t being competitive or relentlessly pursuing a standard or pushing to find an edge, it’s just being miserable. Now that they’ve given us a reason to be miserable, the pigs in shit are out ready to cry over every future future third rounder that could become the next great star and why haven’t we sacked everybody again.

Gets old. If you hate it so much, take a break. Process was flawed, list is better, I’m excited to watch our kids. How awful.

I get that some people go over the top, but tbh I think that having the odd yell at the tv or rant on here is probably one of the healthier ways of venting some of the frustration that builds up from day to day life.

If he says the strategy was to take 5 18yos in the ND and that's what we did, then it makes sense why we didn't make extra list spots.

If you haven't already, go and listen to Jamie Maddocks interview in the media thread. It's a clear development initiative to not bring in too many kids at once.

You can't just keep opening up list spots for more draft picks. You have to make a plan and stick to it and sometimes that requires making hard and unpopular choices.

You don't have to agree with the plan but it's what they are clearly intending to do moving forward.
