Don’t think it will make a difference long term but we’d want to nail not only Cochrane next year but some other picks too.If there is no one left on our list, does that mean we pass in the rookie draft aswell?
Not convinced by the decision to trade pick 49 but it probably won't make a big difference either way.
I think that's an excuse tbh. We have put a lot of work in Krasnadamskis and BOB. So let's see what happens in RD. I think they knew towards the end of the draft that one of them would slide and they may as well take a rookie pick.If there is no one left on our list, does that mean we pass in the rookie draft aswell?

Assume you mean one new rookie in addition to Watkins but yes agree
Maybe he was just providing lip service, but when Stephen Wells says that he liked this draft pool, I’m inclined to back his judgement over Cripps and Parker.

No one that you were that keen on or you wouldn't trade out the pick, there was probably a handful they thought might be there and if not they were meh.View attachment 2482668
Interesting one. Makes you wonder if there were any on our list that we could have got if we hadn't made the GC trade.
I thought kickett would be selected by someone.
I thought we would take a pick as we needed to fill one more spot in the senior list?
I think kras may have been a bit too honest in his interviews...he seemed to think sport should have an element of enjoyment!
Because we don't have the first pick today. If we liked someone left, why would we pick them today and have to put them on the main list if we can instead put them on the rookie list tomorrow and only have to commit to the single year?
The biggest steal of the draft apparently since the Camry Crows drafted Sam Siggins at pick 62.Someone should tell Archie that you are supposed to cry after you get drafted by the Crows.

Heartbroken draftee retreats to room in tears, misses moment he is picked
Archie Ludowyke goes to his bedroom thinking he is not going to get his AFL dream realised, only to to hear an eruption from his living room as his name is called out by the Adelaide Crows.www.abc.net.au
Among the players the Power have done work on are small forward Zane Peucker, ruckman Marcus Krasnadamskis, forward Liam Hetherton, VFL prospect Tobyn Murray and local midfielder Blake Oudshoorn-Bennier, while midfield pair Jack Dalton and Matt LeRay could also be in the mix deeper into proceedings. Tai Hayes, the cousin of St Kilda champion Lenny, is another player Port has looked at across the year in the VFL.
What should we make of promoting Evans after the draft, as opposed to Lai and Cochrane who were promoted beforehand? We promoted Logan Evans after the draft
