This game just doesn’t have the same intensity as ours, I don’t think either the Blues or Lions have that extra gear to go with us.

Brisbane look way more likely to have something click for them.

I said it after the hawks game that the prelim would be tougher to win than the granny.
And that was the case.
Our leaders were great on Jammin , kearns and even Jenna did her bit at key stages - bogue the road runner was sensational.
Sherrin was massive in her first game in 6 weeks

Farewell games are for the weak and trampled. She's dropped for form. She showed today that she can't play either end and should only play for injury depth. This isn't a romance novel, it's a football team and a GF. If Mia is the in, Shierlaw is the out.

Shierlaw is terribly out of touch but is still a better option than Shannon. l think she will lift come grand final and help us win plus she can play FWD, back and pitch hit in the ruck if needed where as Shannon is doing some costly errors in each game lately.

I expect us to start next week how we finished this week.

Brisbane will need to go significantly harder than what they have had to at any point in this game.

I don’t expect everything our own way. Brisbane are quality and they’re well coached. But they are putting away a lessor side.

If we played Carlton the game would have been over within a quarter.

Brisbane like Melbourne are a team of thugs who will go the Biff any chance they get to rattle us like the Dees did for most of the game. Hopefully Crock will mention this and make them aware of it at the team meeting. We need to focus on playing OUR game and not get sucked in..

Sherrin can cover for Shannon. Shannon has made a few errors in the last 3 games and seems to be hesitating when making a descision or attacking the ball.

We have played the Lions a lot. I think the team knows what to expect with them more than we did with the Dees who put us on the back foot early. There are no secrets for either team in the GF, just a lot of water under the bridge and huge motivation for both sides to put one over on the other. I think this one has more ‘edge’ than most current rivalries in the men’s game because both beat the other to win a flag. Box office.
