It’s nice sentiment to wear your old man’s number but I want Cody to make another number special.

Or let the boy earn it. Would love to see it put on ice for a few years, not to be mistaken in retiring it, just shelve it until he is ready or someone else steps up and warrants it.

It’s just a number but it holds some weight historically.

I like how he has linked into the history of each guernsey with the pictures underneath of past players who have worn the numbers. That's a nice touch. Well done. First time I have seen the club do this in this format. Hopefully Ollie draws upon thinking about Rod Ashman when kicking goals. This is one of the best ever. Continue the legacy.

Interesting watch to see if Billy gifts #35 (another 5 multiple) to Harry. If not HD surely takes Doc’s 15 he wore for VIC C and quoted Doc as a favourite.

Byrne can have the #30 for mine, I know #38 has a small forward history, but with rumoured SSP opportunities, it makes sense for #20 and #38 to remain available.

I really wish the clubs website would remove players once delisted / traded or left as free agent within 24 hours of that taking place.
Once the new players have there numbers update again and even if the players pic is a silhouette until a photo is taken it is better than seeing players who left the club for whatever reason still on there.

I'm 99% sure that stuff is done centrally at AFL house and gets updated in bulk once all of the clubs have submitted their player photos for the upcoming season.
