Hunter is his own worst enemy, he just hasn't worked hard enough getting an AFL elite physique or fitness. As a result he will be behind quite a few this year.

Clarks dedication to becoming an AFL football off the track before RTB arrived is showing now. It would be interesting to see where he would be at in his development if he had more professionalism away from the club in those formative years where you build the base which launches your career as we are seeing with our young core now.

Collard looks like a different person. The boy is now a man. Glad to hear he's looking good in the running too. Reckon he could still be special. Nice mentor in Ryan now too.

If Collard and Henry get going this year then our forward line could be pretty damn dynamic.

Collard has shown the X factor that got him recruited. Whether he can turn it on consistently is up to him. But shitloads of potential.

Yeah he bled red white and black and it’s pretty obvious that us low-balling him and him realising we wanted him gone broke his heart.

We couldn't NOT low ball him. Our Salary cap was screwed.
Essendon paid him and he got sucked into an Essendon premiership.

I’ve always thought the same, if he can become our bobby hill, that is the icing on top that pushes a top 6 list into a potential premiership. People forget how good he actually was for freo the year we traded for him, multiple 30 disposal games

he's much better than bobby Hill. Bobby gets the gloss because he was a part of a premiership team but Henry does more damage imo. Yes he was poor last year but he was injured for most of it and then came back and was subbed off after 1 touch in a half. With a proper pre-season and a good run at it, he'll be in our team most weeks. 16 touches a goal and 5 tackles. 4-5 involvements.

Every time i see the highlights of one of our forwards, its always Higgins who shines . Part of almost every score. Best trade ever. But yeah, i still think Collard is a potential match winner in future.

We all know he can play and is courageous - but its blatantly obvious he doesnt like the gym or doing the hard work. Most of the 18yo kids drafted have more ready physiques than Hunter. He has really wasted that talent and has become nothing more than a solid back up player.

Very happy to he proven wrong but I’ve pretty much put a line through him now.

Just unable to bank on him at all and he hasn’t been able to put it all together consistently when he has played, and his overall running ability is concerning, so for mine he’s now probably a depth guy, without an obvious position, who might be handy injury cover- if he’s not also injured at that time himself!

Hard to see him being one of our prime midfield options any more, so maybe he’ll train across HB and be one of the guys in the mix to play Nas’s previous role.

Last night I watched some more footage and believe Fincher will be the steal of the draft. His game against Essendon in the VFL was sublime, playing against men he had a real competitive edge and his work out of traffic was brilliant. I know its a huge call but he reminded me of Ed Richards, he has a big future and will really surprise the competition.

Banfield is still growing into his body it wouldnt surpirse if he is still growing. His contested marking is something special, he covers huge amounts of ground, can kick on both sides, his vision and 20 metre bullet handballs are a weapon. His finals games in the WAFL Colts showed he has other levels to go to. He can really turn on the burners when chasing and gives 2nd and 3rd efforts consistently. He will need some time but WCE will rue not taking this kid, their supporters already are.

Even though we kept Marshall TDK is still a pretty important piece. I’d imagine it would completely change the midfield setups having a dominant ruckman compared to one where you have to mitigate the damage.
