Especially since this will be his 8th year on a list and his ceiling has been "he's a good kick" but his goal kicking record sits at 53% sooo...

He’s a 25 year old KPF (noting most KPFs take until around then to hit their straps) that’s:

1. played on shit Suns sides; and

2. been constantly moved all over the ground, preventing him from finding any real consistency in playing up forward during that time.

Then in his first season at Port he had to deal with a freak impact injury followed by subsequent soft tissue injuries while trying to rush back into Hinkley’s shit sandwich of a forwardline - and still managed to put in a good showing in 3/6 games.

All people are saying, is that it’s too early to crack the shits and give up on him. Before spewing this nonsense give him a full preseason, a (hopefully) functional forwardline / game plan, and more than three games in a row without injury so he has a chance to build form. It’s a very reasonable take, and I’m not sure why you’re so hellbent against it.

He’d actually been one of the most durable forwards in the league before last season. He was averaging around 18 games a year since his draft, which is pretty remarkable for a tall forward. But apparently the club was supposed to be omniscient and somehow know he’d have all his bad luck the moment we picked him up.

200 contested marks, 500 goals (pre-finals) and that might save him from being hung, drawn and quartered. If he could go back in time and win this year's Norm Smith, I reckon that would get him off my shit list.

30+ goals and a cog in a functioning forward line for me. I was going to say 40+ but then remembered Whitlock. If Georgiades, Whitlock and Lukosius can form a functioning, dynamic tall forward combination that could be pretty exciting. Be nice if we can get 20+ games out of each of them.

I'd be expecting him to match or at least get close to that output in 2 of the 3 categories, depending on role.

Yes if i'm being serious, i want Mitch and Luko to match one another for scoreboard impact. Something like:

• Mitch: 50 goals, 20 assists
• Luko: 35 goals, 35 assists
