Good interview, spoke well, answered the questions and injected a bit of levity. Looks more comfortable in the leadership role.

"I feel like the air's lifted a little bit around the building, and everyone's really excited to get back into training and learn how we're going to play."

I got out of this- Rozee "It's been refreshing" and he said this twice through the interview.

That to me says it was stale under Ken. Yeah no shit mate.

Yep, so stale I walked away from the club for 3yrs and it could've easily been a lot longer. We all know why too.

Off field, self serving egomaniacs had killed 'it' for me but I rejoined yesterday, because I didn't want the

campaigners to win and me to lose a part of my life. As a person Connor doesn't move my needle but

as skipper he's out there day 1 and I admire that. Liked what he said about Stephenson and Watkins

Yep 'refreshing' was mentioned a few times and inferred even more. Sounds like he's growing up and

relishing the change brought about by Carr AND his support team.

I expect you will see Carr giving the on-field leaders much more in-game responsibility and they will mature as players and people.

Rozee already sounds so much different (better) than the 'We heart Kenny' leader he was trapped into being previously.

I have to say it once again that re-signing Ken at the end of August 2023 when they knew Carr was the next man for the job is still one of the most baffling football decisions the club has made.

Rozee doesn’t like a spokesmen for the club compared to when Ken was there.

Tbf, it's his first non-hostage video.

...and who can forget the word salad bull dust from Chairman Moi justifying it before the finals.

Even Timmy G was bamboozled by the nonsensical tripe that arvo on AA. Caro had said the week before on FC

Ken will be extended, they're just waiting for a win to announce it .

Anyway i'll leave it at that, it's the Rozee thread after all and I hate even talking about the sh*thead.

Faark you Donuts

Rozee has been giving me Cotchin vibes for a while now.

Quietly confident, a classy player, and sometimes seen from the outside as a bit soft. Hopefully he ends up captaining a few flags and showing he’s anything but.

Just don't win the toss and kick against the breeze, hey. Otherwise I'd be happy with that.

That seems to be a common theme in any interview I've seen with any players this offseason. It feels like the whole club has been given a new lease of life. Connor seemed a lot more relaxed and self assured than I've ever seen him and handled the questions very well. Liked the comments he made about the Zac situation, and that he echoed Josh's attitude of creating an environment that would make Zac want to stay, rather than talking him out of leaving. Good vibes from the club all round.
