Thank God for that.I was about to ask thoughts on Will Phillips, but a quick google looks like hes already started training with St Kilda
So my expected best 23 for the start of preseason:
B: Max, Murray, Worrell
HB: Milera, Keane, Hinge
C: Cummings, Dawson, Ah Chee
HF: Keays, Thilthorpe, Tex
F: Rankine, Fogarty, Rachele
R: O'Brien, Curtin, Soligo
INT: ANB, Peatling, Laird, Draper, Edwards
From the SF side:
In: Draper, Edwards, Ah Chee, Rankine
Out: Berry, Pedlar, Taylor, Smith.
Inside mid rotation: Dawson 60-80%, Soligo 60-80%, Curtin 50-70%, Peatling 30-50%, Rankine 20-40%. Draper as an emergency addition/low risk situations.
Pedlar is probably the only unlucky one, especially off a good finals series, but he loses his spot because it's time to get our two best prospects into the lineup. Taylor for Ah Chee is a pretty clear upgrade, Berry was useless as an inside mid and gets Draper in (with Curtin picking up his minutes) and Smith has retired.
Adelaide could go balls out and switch Laird for Bond, with the thought of releasing Max into a half back flank role, but that's not something I foresee happening just yet.

He’s decent nowThey can't be serious having Josh Ward on the list
It’s like saying who’s your favourite childAll I know is that I am more than happy we have Dan, Josh, Max and Jake on our list for the longer term. Dan has the ability to become just about the best player in the comp in my opinion in time. Max is every chance to be a 300 gamer for us. Josh, if he can transition to midfield will be an absolute A grader and Jake is good enough to be part of a starting mid rotation when on form.
Destiny's?..It’s like saying who’s your favourite child
That's wild.
Max a B grader ?Sid was in his unlucky to miss out list. NFI how he got that close. Max is a nice defender bit when he started lots of us saw signs of the second coming of Ben Hart. Reality is that he didn’t develop much further and he’s presently a nice reliable B grade level defender and it’s looking like that’s what he’ll remain for the foreseeable future.
Max is better than a nice defender. Benny Hart was a great defender but never made the transition to other spots. Maxy is a great defender who also has other strings to his bowSid was in his unlucky to miss out list. NFI how he got that close.
