I wish him well. It is almost easy to forget that he is a premiership player for us. He played well in the 2012 Grand Final too.

Also sidenote, when he did his first ACL during a preseason game in 2013 I remember a young Dane Rampe coming into the team to replace him, and now Rampe is near retirement.

Such a shame that sportspeople get remembered for one incident rather than a career, although that is what goes with the territory.

A good VFL player who got to play a few AFL games - good on him.

Very true and has been many like him that just can't sustain a place at the top level , the same as great shield cricketers that are no good at test level , Marcus Harris is an example

Tom Longmire has left our VFL team and gone home to Corowa his hometown to play under Cressa , will play with 3 other Longmires , they fall out of the redgums on the Murray
