I seem to have lucked out. I jumped into the queue about 45 minutes before tickets released and was 3600 in queue from the get go.

I don't understand. It clearly says I can use my barcode for one ticket for each game of the round, yet it wouldn't let me purchase the collingwood game.

Took me 53 minutes to get thru. Was going to buy a 4 game multi pass for the Hill - cost me $70 in the past, now they want $120.

Used to be all free for clubs members in the first year, then they charged for top 2 categories for seats but Hill was free, now they charge $20 for the Hill. I was happy to just buy that for Port's game. I have bought a 4 gamer and only attended 3 games one year. Guess the higher price disincentivises this sort of behaviour.

That is only for the 2nd window, which is a new thing for 2026. The first window only lets you buy tickets for games you are a club member of, unless you buy a 4 game multi pass.


When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets for Gather Round go on sale on 10am ACDT, Wednesday 3 December for game access members to purchase tickers to their club’s match.

New this year, tickets are then available for game access members to attend other matches across Gather Round during a Second Priority Window. This Second Priority Window will be on sale from 10am-1pm ACDT, Thursday 4 December.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public from 3pm ACDT, Thursday 4 December.

• First Priority Window: 10am ACDT, Wednesday 3 Dec until 8am ACDT, Thursday 4 Dec
• Port Adelaide game access members can purchase tickets to Port Adelaide v St Kilda, or a multi-match pass at Adelaide Oval using their Gather Round barcode
• Second Priority Window: 10am – 1pm ACDT, Thursday 4 Dec
• Game access members can purchase tickets to all Gather Round matches using their Gather Round barcode
• General public on-sale: 3pm ACDT, Thursday 4 Dec

You can't buy for other games till tomorrow.

You can only buy for games including the team you are a member of today. Unless you are a Freo or Collingwood member you can't buy tickets for those games until tomorrow.

I can understand that with the pace of ticket purchasing, they basically can't offer you the ability to select seats. However what I don't understand is if the system is going to basically go through it all auto-allocating the tickets, how can it not be faster. The processing power and speed of modern computers should be clearing these queues far, far quicker.

the system hasn't factored in all the Beryls at the entertainment centre taking 40 minutes to decide on what seats they want, and delaying even more until Algernon gets back from taking a leak in the front bar of the Gov

Atkins 141 games + Boak 387 games means its not that drastic a loss compared to other clubs.

It's not the games on paper but the games you can only see from behind the goals that we'll miss the most

Looking at Rookie Me Central's AFLW draft top 30 rankings for next week's draft, #1 is the Suns Academy player Ava Usher and 3 of the next 5 are Queensland girls.

The AFL would be rapt with the number of top 10 / top 20 picks in both men's and women's comp coming out of Qld, especially SE Qld.

Not so much out of western Sydney.

Stats don’t really show his true worth.
Just his presence on the ground was worth at least 4 goals.

Same here, I couldn't find that option either and looked pretty hard before my timer ran low.

I was about 8,900 in the queue but it rattled through quickly enough and I was in the ticket room after half an hour. Scored decent seats.

But I'm sick to death of Ticketek's two-step verification that sends a code to an email address I can't access from where I was. Why not just send it to your phone? And when I went to check my tickets online after I bought them it asked me to log in again.
