any club that this potentially impacts, should just avoid doing gather round jumper. A tiny middle finger to the league too. From Freo's AGM
"AFL has reduced the allowed number of themed jumpers for the year.
Anzac Day and indigenous are locked in. Club can can then choose 2 more.
(We’ve had the option of 3-4 in the past).
Have decide what to drop out of stealth, starlight or retro.
The round/theme still exists, just the jumper goes."

why is this excellent news??Excellent news.
I have a website where I track all the jumper and uniform variations throughout the history of the game.why is this excellent news??

I was thinking we’d drop the starlight jumpers, the designs have always been pretty average and you could still auction off the match worn jumpers even if they aren’t starlight branded.Dropping stealth seems like a no-brainer there.
Never be the second guy to try do something. Bad from hawks, no matter how well they pull it off they will always be the second guy in pink

Just to clarify, I'm not saying other clubs haven't in the past and don't still use pink, and using it for a cause is great like Hawks and Melbourne have done in the past, but Gold Coast were the first to use it as part of their brand and the Hawks post makes it appear as though they are trying to follow suit (or at least trying to).Never be the second guy to try do something. So Freo will haveFrom Freo's AGM

Depends if we're counting a shorts change as a wholly new kit - I would say that just wearing away shorts doesn't change the kit itself, so this discounts a purple "away"So Freo will have
Home
Away (does this count?)
Clash
Anzac
Home Indigneous
Clash Indigenous?

Great take, home jumpers have definitely lost appeal to one off jumpers in recent years unfortunately.I have a website where I track all the jumper and uniform variations throughout the history of the game.
Each new jumper is a different Jumper and two Uniforms I have to re-create.
So less work for me.
Plus; additional jumpers add nothing to the game.
They have become a false economy of retail options that only end up diminishing the value of the brand identity of the clubs.
