bring back 17 for captains
A mate of mine ran into the great man recently and had an impromptu chat. Knighta was super friendly, still loves the tigers, and still fondly recalls the 1995 semi against Essendon when he kicked 3 ridiculous goals. An all round top bloke.
I’m happy with a best fit not must have played for Richmond first policy , , helped us win 3 flags in last 10y , stick with it

Knighter had this wonderful ability to just come to an almost stop and let traffic around him just slide on by.
I posted this earlier in the year but it would have been massive to have got Knighter at Tigerland
he would have rocketed up to our number one coaching talent the day he stepped foot into the department, daylight would have been second place.

As a coach knights was potentially 10-15 years ahead of his time.
