Feel this is a bit overstated. He just isn’t built for such long seasons. Maybe 1 game a week type baller .Nah.
He's actually pretty good, when he plays. That's what makes it tragic. All the talent in the world, but can't get out of his own way.

Don’t deny his talent, just the dedication to keep himself in shape which is prob why he’s always injured. It’s taken S7 to only get himself in shape.
Knickerbockers seem to be shooting the 3 ball a lot more. Not great for a 5 man. Looks like he's a PT 4 man as well at times.Tough spot for Mike Brown he’s come into the team that if hadn’t choked in game one likely would have played off in the championship so expectations are high to go the next step this season…
If that wasn’t enough already you’ve got the pressure of trying to gel the team into a new game style and on top of that there’s every chance the roster gets gutted to add Giannis in which again throws everything out the window.
Everything I’ve heard so far sounds like Giannis wanted the Knicks and asked for a trade, Knicks wouldn’t do it as it would have gutted the roster and don’t have the picks.
KAT is playing like a guy that’s not invested in the new system or playing like a guy who feels he’s going to get moved on at the first chance.
He was incredible last year and this season he has been ok , pretty up and down but way more sulking than last year for sure. Something not quite right going on there.
If Giannis wants to be a Knick and a Knick only like what has been reported then he will end up with us. Maybe there is a smokey out there that will offer a lot more but it sounds like Giannis wants the New York lifestyle to be "home" Again if you believe what was reported from Windhurts and co in the pre season it sounded like the Knicks said no at the asking price because they wanted how the current side would look under Brown. I think if we were sitting at the top with only 1 or 2 losses for the season they would probably we think we have what it takes but the fact we have lost 6-7 games and haven't been convincing in some of the wins they might pull the trigger now.Heres one
Giannis to OKC.
Hartenstein + Wiggins + Dieng + K.Williams + 3 1st rounders for Giannis
SGA
Wallace
Williams
Giannis
Holmgren
Caruso, Dort, Joe, Williams, Mitchell
Feels ok to me
Agree, He was bloody fantastic last year won of the best big men in the league. My only negative about his play last year was how much he sooked on the no foul calls on him which seems to have gotten worse this year.Knickerbockers seem to be shooting the 3 ball a lot more. No sure what the big deal is for New York here.If Giannis wants to be a Knick and a Knick only like what has been reported then he will end up with us. He is a free agent in a year and half isn't he? Would be a ballsy move for someone to give the farm up for him if he is hell bent on living in NY or the idea of being based out of the MSG for home games?
Celts game yesterday commentators said the Knicks coach thought KAT would grow into the new gamestyle. But coaches say a lot, so time will tell. I feel like OG out impacts his game negatively as well.Agree, He was bloody fantastic last year won of the best big men in the league. My only negative about his play last year was how much he sooked on the no foul calls on him which seems to have gotten worse this year.
Maybe all the pre season chat of Giannis has played with his head , I think he even came out with a statement or comment yesterday saying he wants to stay in NY because of his family.
He is a very good player but lets not pretend he is Giannis though. Not in that same categoryAgree, He was bloody fantastic last year won of the best big men in the league. Not comparing him at that level at all, just pointing out that he is playing like a man rattled and unhappy and its pretty clear any trade for Giannis would start with Kat.He is a very good player but lets not pretend he is Giannis though. Not in that same category
Suspect he just says it has to be a contender and its open from there unfortunately. Its why I think San Antonio is the most likely landing spotNot comparing him at that level at all, just pointing out that he is playing like a man rattled and unhappy and its pretty clear any trade for Giannis would start with Kat.
The ball is in Giannis court here he can basically demand where he goes , if he wants to be a Knick he will be a Knick. If he wants to just get out of the Bucks and go anywhere else then the door opens for those teams with more capital and pieces.
