There is absolutely no way known that they’ll drop the starlight jumper. Far too good an opportunity for the club to gain a heap of positive media/PR for it to go away. The stealth jumper will be dropped.

Stealth is my favorite jumper ever.

I came to the conclusion recently that your hatred of banners must be a bit, a long troll. And if it is, full respect because you have played it to perfection. Teetering on the edge of believable but also brought up at extremely irrelevant times and in literally every second post you make, it makes me think wait this can't be for real?

Love the stealth
Currently thinking Starlight jumper could go. Of course, I love our Starlight association & long may it continue, but from just the look of the jumper, I'm all for stealth & no to the starlight one.
But, if it is really important to the Starlight round, I am open to having my opinion changed

Would be disappointed if they did away with the Starlight jumper given it's importance to the culture of our Club. Stealth started out cheesy but I think they got it looking good last year.

Surely we can get around the limit by having just a small yellow star on our regular home jumper for starlight?

My thinking is, that because we’re the away team in gather round, and the north game is daytime in Bunbury, maybe we rest the stealth this year.

Then swap with retro in 27 if the limit is still 2

Just go all in and design it properly, a Stealth + Starlight with subtle acknowledgements of anchor and Port/Starboard colours.

Then create polo shirt street wear made of real cotton, with above colour scheme and we'll be golden.

There's a reason ALL Freo stuff is always sold out when you got on AFL Merchandise websites where designers have had a crack whether it's Street X, or Mitchell & Ness - it's because people want it.

I especially liked the cotton polo shirt idea.
I can't stand wearing synthetic materials, except raincoats of course.

Yeah I think they're great jumpers but it won't outweigh the good that the starlight match does for the club.

Is anyone else a little nervous with Adam Beard taking the reins from Phil Merrimen this pre-season as our Director of Performance?

Thought we had a pretty good year in terms of running games out and injury management under Phil last year. An
internal promotion, the first thing Adam seems to have done is get rid of the 2km time trial and replace it with a 30/15 repeated sprint beep test (Wagner, Frederick, Whan standouts), as he believes it is more relevant to Afl-style fitness.

Adam I note comes from a Rugby Union background. The last ex-Rugby Union head of Strength and Conditioning we had was one Jason Weber. He seemed about as adept at limiting soft tissue injuries to players as rats were at preventing the bubonic plague.

Yeah I am nervous Phil Merriman was replaced.

Really they should be working on deficiencies and individual progress.
Positional, I mean we already know what their strengths are, keep that up
and improve the overall team on a whole.

While AC/DC are in town, and before it’s too late to get the approval of the actual living band members… I reckon we should switch out the club song to a Freo version of TNT
“Cause we’re Fremantle… OI OI OI !!!”

Much better than our current song, reinforces AC/DC’s Fremantle connection and will keep thier music fresh in mind for however many decades/centuries/millennia the AFL runs for - a win/win really !

JT is quite the interesting character.

Seems so relaxed and unflappable, but is first in, packing his bags the day prior.

Think is a bit of a still waters run deep type of guy. Seems really clear minded and purposeful, nothing like I was at that sort of age.

Voss academy looks great, no wonder Voss and Treacy’s marking improved last year if that is what they get up to.

Good to see Onions there too, if he starts clunking them like JT watch out.
