More about being upfront with members, sponsors & key stakeholders of the club not forgetting Nth have no home deck next season so assuming income will be light on.

If an EDFL club wants to sign a $40k player who is north of 30 who will be around for 5 minutes don't stand in their way. Also a matter of assessing where your list REALLY is if not in the window of T3/4 on the proviso you are not going down.

Doggies have done a good job with this.

North have handled it well. No way they can match some rumoured offers. Some blokes leaving are guns for hire. Good luck to them and an opportunity for the Doggies to develop young guns who are committed to the club.

Sam Lloyd coaches them and Hamish Sheperd plays there aswell.
It’s actually a very good comp. Torquay are a powerhouse who just signed Travis Boak.

Jesse is a club legend and loyal as they come over the past 10 years when he had big money thrown at him from a number of clubs he stood by the club through thick and thin, very sad to see people of his ilk gone.

The word on the Doggies from a local at the bar:

Training to be held using Telfer Reserve Bundoora one night and JE Moore Reservoir the other.

Few (he thinks 3 or 4) 'home' games at Eltham with agreement between Clubs when Eltham are obviously away.

Remaining games at Yarrambat with agreement between Clubs and support from Juniors there.

Unfortunately works on rooms have started slowly....., this is the most worrying thing, longer they 'stall' the longer you are off your ground and worse things get.

Confident despite some departures the 'ins' are going to enable them to stay up and ride this wave until 2027 and new rooms and obviously more income.

Some departures i think is a bit of an understatement.

You seem pretty disgruntled by the whole thing down at nth and have private documents which I’m guessing only club personal would have, while every other committee member is still on board from last year so I’m told.
So I’ll take it your the ex pres and cracking the sad’s over getting the boot after 1 year?

Wish everyone was like my tiges a well put together unit that play within the rules.
Can’t wait to watch the 5 peat this year

I have nothing but the upmost for Chris and his team at Heidelberg and i hope they get the 5 peat, it is am amazingly ran club with a huge committee and plenty of support, but if you think im going to sit back and have keyboard warriors pot me about players not being paid and sponsors not being happy you are sorely mistaken.
Players need to remember that the club was well into the red before the season started and the very small committee
done an outstanding job getting players paid by rounds 8-9, 15-16 and the final payment at the end of the season, as were
promised, and i can tell you besides one or two clubs every other club was in the same boat.
