Redcliffe are in a sweet spot right now and blokes want to be a part of it. They way they attract players is impressive and hats off to who ever is responsible.
Now from what I can tell the biggest extra you get from div 1 is you don't have to supply ressies umpires

Don't get too excited they are still very inconsistent.

So Redcliffe will be the hunted, rather than the hunters. Probably a nice change for them.

They were the hunted side last year aswell..if you read back to the previews last season just about everybody had them winning the comp and after beating Alex hills by 60 in round 1 it solidified them as the team to beat

I think everyone staying the same this year but big changes next year apparently.

Must be close to the 3 year mark where they turn everything upside down and make mass changes

Depends on how close Logan City Pirates are to the more northern GC teams

Probably the reason Redcliffe stayed out for another year. Apparently everyone south of river will be in south competition next year and anyone on north side becomes north competition.

So not sure if that includes GC teams or not. Might be a central competition with

Alex, Wynnum, Kenmore, Yeronga, Moorooka, Pirates, Beenleigh and maybe an Ipswich team , Jindalee etc but think they after a minimum 8 team competition. Not sure what they have planned for Northside as might be some coast sides coming in or back from
Div 1.

Or maybe Div 1 getting a face lift as well from North to GC. Who knows?
