Is this the third year in a row we have played the Dogs in the pre season?
Feels like it. I saw it was announced and said to myself, i bet it's the Dogs.
With Geelong down at alphabet for the intraclub giggle game

Pretty sure it is. We may even have played them twice in one of those pre-seasons (2024?) - one arranged by the clubs themselves and then the 'official' AFL pre-season game.
Edit: I'm guessing the clubs put in requests for which other club(s) they'd like to play in the pre-season. Perhaps the Dogs and us like to test ourselves against each other?

Very surprised that the two Adelaide-based teams have agreed to fly across the Nullarbor for pre-season games.
Why couldn't the SA and WA teams have played each other, like the NSW and Qld teams are?

They beat us by 40+ in the preseason game, people complain that the season is already cooked, then we beat them in H&A. Been the pattern for two years now.
