Not worried about our height. The average height of an AFL footballer is currently 187cm

We needed to find some good small forwards. We have thrown a lot of spots on our list at small forwards to battle it out.

We seemed to take the same strategy for KPDs

Next year you’d think we will have turfed a few smalls and atleast one KPD. The balance of the list will look better.

With both KPD's and small forwards, you don't want to solve your issues by spending up on a good one first up. It takes time to work out how to do it. The best thing to do is collect about five of each from the local tip before investing a decent pick in one to keep.

Ludo isn't bad, just very inconsistent and underwhelming year, got injured and seemed to struggle with expectation.
He may put it together in a few years at the Crows, but he's got work to do.
I was fine passing on Ludo because I like the look of the key forwards in the upcoming draft.

It's something we need to keep looking at to find another quality one, but it may not be this year.
Someone like a Gabriel Patterson could add something up forward with elite speed and freakish ability around goals, but I think we likely go after transition run through the middle and half back and at least one key forward instead.
Then potentially add Harris as F/S and Devine as an NGA at later picks at this stage.
But might depend on how many small/half fwds exit end of 2026 as to whether we look at it this year.

Yep pick 50. Crows rated him highly, mentioned his light frame and said he should fill out and referenced that he did play quite well against VFL opposition.
He looked promising at times this year early and last year as a 17 year old, so there's some scope there for him to develop further. Wait and see who we add this year as a key forward.

Yeah i have no doubt we will grab a KPF in next years draft one we rate higher than him hence why we didnt go for him
