Wow, that lead 7News story clashing with the English cricket team security guard was almost Port Adelaide worthy.
I couldn’t see Elspeth hiding in a bin anywhere though.

Security man bustles idiot fat slob cameraman out the way for invading personal space of famous people. More at six.

What happened to festerz big rant about this copper on the board? I like the old man shouts at Olsen posts
Having worked with both John Olsen and Grant Stevens I thought my perspective on why one would want the other to be on the Board of what finances, memberships and sponsorships indicate is the most powerful sporting club in SA might be worthy of discussion. Especially why the inherent conflict of interest of having the top SA cop on the board of the highest revenue sporting club in SA is something worthy of getting concerned about.

I deleted my post because I’ve realised this board is not the place for discussion - just one liner statements for the lols. And fitting in with the crowd of course. Neither I’m good at.

I remember bomberclifford responding to one of my verbose earliest critical posts with a simple question ‘why are you here?’ On reflection it’s a good question. I shouldn’t be here.

That's former Hawthorn player Mark Williams lol
Ok tell me what I’m missing here ?

In 2026, AFL coaching icon Mark "Choco" Williams will be the senior coach for the Ballan Blues in the Central Highlands Football League (CHFL). He will be departing his role as the Head of Development at the Melbourne Football Club at the end of the 2025 season.

Willo is no stranger to the BFNC! He first joined the club in 2012 as a player straight out of the AFL, before moving in to the position of Senior Football Coach, where he took the side to it’s first finals win in 10 years!
Willo’s career highlights:
• Rookie drafted to the AFL in 2000
• VFL Premiership 2001 (Box Hill)
• AFL debut in 2002, playing 115 games 247 goals
• AFL premiership 2008 (Hawthorn) plus kicking 60+ goals 2005, 2006 finishing as the Hawthorn’s leading goal kicker
CHFL debut with the Blues in 2012 with 63 games in total including 129 goals over the 4 years.
Willo coached for 2014/15 season making a preliminary final in 2015. Willo then moved closer to home in 2016 where coached Newport Power in the WRFL to win the premiership that season.
Mark now has 4 kids and loves watching them play sport and ejoys a round of golf. He is excited to get back to the club again and see both new and old faces, and working with our young group. Willo has a great approach to his style of coaching through junior development too, strong leadership, team performance and someone who gets the whole club involved.
We send a huge BFNC welcome back to Mark, Belinda, Mia, Kobe, Eve and Lucas!
Go Blues! #proudlyBallan
