still only 20 years old and as we know has had interrupted start to his career due to Illness & Injury

do not see them competing against each other.

Faull can play defence and Armstrong is a different type

apples and oranges and one of their success possibly helps the others, not the other way around

If anything probably helps Smillie because Smillie does not have to be as aerially dominant

I have not seen Faull play defence so cant comment on that

But is that a Magic thing or has he actually played in that position

he competes well. If Faull competes well surely that is not because it is just close to goal for goal scoring. Rance competed well

Faull kicks a long ball. The ball in the air moves faster than Grjl. IF Faull kicks it out of defence it gets out of there faster than Grijl.

how accurate for goal is Faull??? not an issue if in defence especially with a long ball and good contested players on the end of it or nearby including dirty ground balls chaos ball


I reckon it takes two kicks to kick a goal for RFC from our defensive goal line, Faull kicks it out of defence, Fawcett marks, goal.

or two kicks one handball. Faull kicks it, handball to Cummings, goal


i look at it like this, if we can kick 200 points and hold the opposition to 50 points, it is easier for us to win games. Like if we have a 100 point margin we still win by 50, I am okay with that

I know this is in english as i can read it but could somebody tell me what he means
have read it 3 times but just dont get what he is saying and after the part about Faull brother now playing defence for Richmond. When did he get drafted ?

I'm excited to announce that next week Adem Yze will be joining me for a 10-15 minute chat about footy prior to them finishing up for the year.

It is a very exciting and huge opportunity for supporters to be able to connect more with the club.

We're gonna struggle the day Scoop gives it away and the boys from Code sports........
 
Some questions I would love answered are -

1. Are you implementing the game in stages across multiple years?
2. Do you give any direction to the the drafting team in terms of the type of player you would like?
3. When do you get time off?
4. Is their anything you wish the fans knew/understood they misinterpret?
5. Do you like all the new rules?
6. Do you wish you could say more about umpire decisions after a game?
7. Where do you think the game is going in terms of style?
8. Do you support the expansion of the game? How will the compensation/draft concessions given to Tasmania effect us?
9. Which young players are really impressing you this preseason?
10. How does game day work with your couches - do you have someone in the box doing strategy while you're on the bench?

Ooze was good. Seemed pretty open.

Sonsie call out was nice, and he loves Campbell.

We won't be picking the kids just because, but we will be playing them in the midfield. Big focus on the 4ish year in types. Could be a quite a different side at times.

He didn't elaborate, but it looks like the game style should be more robust and complex than 2025.

Great interview. it'd be great if it becomes a regular(ish) thing

Hi Michael’s.
I was the person who was very critical of your nomination of MRJ as a midfield selection in you 2026 team make up, as I have put it out there that I don’t think he’s good enough.
I want to make it quite clear that I really appreciate your efforts in giving us these videos and enjoy watching them. I think you do terrific job. However, I’ve never heard you be critical or put forward a players name that you believe is not good enough to figure in a future Richmond side. Are you just being careful to not upset people and especially the club as it could affect your ability to get an interview? I’d really like to know if there is any player on the list that you consider is not up to it? Not just a comment like “player X will need to have a good season”. A hard analysis of why you think (player X ) is not up to the standard. If you think this would be detrimental to you in getting time with the club then just state so. It’s understandable.
Once again thank you for your efforts. Much appreciated.

Hi Sregit,

Nope not being careful at all, just genuinely excited about our future and hopes for some of our players, which I’ll never make any apologies for!

Don’t really think there is a need to be making videos targeting players on why they won’t make it when we are 2 months into the pre season.

Much rather celebrate the players doing well and having some fun trying to work out where they fit.

After last year’s delisting I don’t believe there is a player on the list that couldn’t play in our afl side at this point in time in some capacity. (excluding first year players)

Have made previous videos of players out of contract who may be in danger on the chopping block, if that’s more what you’re after, see below

But in short it’s an independent show with our own views but I just prefer to have a positive outlook for the most part.
