I asked a number of people at training today who their 3 favourite players are on our current list.
So i will put it to you BF people who your favourite 3 players are:
I'll start things off
1. Tauru
2. Hall
3. Banfield
1.  Wood- fantastic mentor to the young lads & to the Aflw team as well. Also, Max King could look to him as a player who had his own injury adversity until he came to us & where his body has held up well.
2. Higgo- can't understand half of what he says, but a positive little fellow who overcame that brain tumour, was it?
And a childhood Saints fan.
3. Nas- our biggest re-signing since who? Stayed loyal to our vision of success for the next two years, so gotta love that.
3. Sincs- from rookie to two-time B&F, gotta love that.

Marshall & Wilkie were on my favs list until Ro wanted to leave & Wilks whinged to the media?

i dont think thats fair. he had some very good VFL games
Very good , id say Fair games at best .
Player development is neither linear nor constant. Every young player have their own window development, some develop early, some peak later. Michael Tuck played 50 games in the reserves to commence his extraordinary career.

So just let the kid play.
The old Linear getting trotted out again , Lets see his body of work and his production rate in the new year,
Lance will either end up a star or just one of those blokes who goes through the motions, he has even more pressure on him this year with new players coming in and others that were injured last year

I understand JSOS is in rehab with the injury, but I take it he is absent at the moment due to what is happening with the brother?

Did he?
Averaged like 8 touches, 2 tackles and less than a goal a game in the VFL? (Acknowledging that stats clearly don't do him any favours here considering he plays the hardest position on the ground imo, and in a very poor Sandy team).

Regardless, he's clearly very talented and I do hope he makes it. Would be huge for us if he could take the next step.

what was his best game? averages aint useful for a young player.

Really keen to see how Pou goes this year. A bit of a forgotten man after an injury interrupted season. How's he been looking in training track watchers?
Match sim today was of a high intensity with Flanders, Nas and Hall all looking terrific.
Nas goal from 50 metres off a step accross his body was the highlight for me.
Flanders poise and quick decision making a highlight & the one two punch of Nas and Hall was impressive.
Carroll again impressed off half back, Keeler very competitive against Marshall in the ruck..Tauru and Caminiti both effective defensively.
Windhager looks good, as do Banfield and Fincher with neither looking out of place!

How's the rehab group looking?

Based on the article from the HS:
  • Nas was Nas. Looks like he is going to have another massive year and earn external praise. Needed the trainers several times due to cramp. Completed the 2x1km at the end of the session.
  • Wanganeen-Milera played in the midfield alongside recruit Sam Flanders, Marcus Windhager and ruck Rowan Marshall during match sim. Marshall urged to push forward at every chance.
  • Tauru still knows how to intercept and was used as a loose man in D50 with Camma and Cal.
  • Hall playing through the midfield.
  • Liam Henry, Mattaes Phillipou, Liam Stocker, Jack Macrae, Liam Henry and Hunter Clark all ran laps.
  • Lastly, Darcy Wilson is still pretty good at running. Windy and Boxshall the next best.

Max King has also undergone a minor procedure on his knee however is expected to be back in full training end of January.

This is just getting ridiculous now.

How the hell can he need knee surgery even if it is just minor.

So frustrated and wish Max could get a fair run at it

I’m hearing bad things regarding King. 100-1 shot to be fit for the start of the season. Still has a mountain of boxes to tick.
I told you. No one wants Max to succeed more than me. However more surgery on his knee after 2 years out just about. The club will never be transparent but from what I’ve heard if we get 10+ games out of him the club will be amazed this season.

I almost can’t believe this. Bloody Groundhog Day. How can they not sort it out. No chance back by late Jan
