He hasn't played for basically 2 years now. stick a fork in him pay him out and move on from him, wont play another 60 for his career

Not giving up on King just yet, though I absolutely believe the concern and loss of faith is well justified, especially as the club has not been very openly communicative about such things.

If come round 1 he is not playing or in basically full training as the club has suggested, then I will finally resign myself to moving on.

I do not think he is easily replaceable as a point of difference, of which we need more of to get ahead of the top 8 teams which are only improving.

Everyone’s allowed a player or two to be irrationally hopefully for - for me that’s King and Clark, it seems like yesterday they were drafted and yet we’re on the doorstep of 2026.

Yeh, it’s extremely hard to believe anything the club puts out about max at this point. They’ve got a lot of reputational damage to manage around Max whilst also protecting him from troll campaigners.

It’s looking more and more like his body is just not up to playing AFL.

Chuck him in with McCartin/Trac, Billings/Bont as King/King/Butters
