Yep.. and this is going to continue..

Thats what happens when you take a side in a war.. especially one involving religion..
Where one side in the fight doesnt care about the conventional methods of warfare. And both sides are that fanatical that slaughtering innocent women and children doesnt phase them.

Until this bullshit in Hamas/palenstine and Israel ends this is what we are stuck with.

Like I said the other day..
Best to stay away from public events for a while especially religious based ones the xmas carols etc.
lol, we are being targeted because we took a side? Which side is that by the way as under Labor we are pro Palestine.

And what does targetting Australians help Islam followers?

Come on man, you are a lefty. It's ok to admit it. I said all religions are not the same. It is war! Many different religions live peacefully together in parts of Israel. The best Muslims are the lukewarm ones, the ones that follow it like they are meant to are dangerous. The complete opposite is true for a Christian.
Grow up kid.

Some of us have taken Israels side..

Some have taken palestines side..

I have taken neither and view both sides with equal disdain.

Its abhorent what both sides are doing and have been doing for decades now.

And yes.. it seems like AA has been more on the Palestinian side.. but if you have really listenned to him the whole time.. he has mostly taken the side of “this anti-semitism and the bloodshed in Gaza and the anger from both sides needs to stop” and that he beleives a two state solution is the only way forward.

My view is that none of this ends until we all take a stand against both these nations and demand it stops. But we are miles away from that happening at this point.

Whats your solution and view george?.. do you not agree that both sides in this need to be held to account?

In the timespan of the Palestinian / Israli conflicts which are centuries old, 25 years is a mere speckle of time .....the fact is the offer of a 2nd state has been made AND rejected

You never answered why it was rejected !

The fact you don't have any sort of counterargument .....but brush it off as irrelevant in the history between the two entities actually reinforces your lack of knowledge on the matter ....then the usual response by some lacking debating skills is to strawman

Maybe arm yourself with some knowledge, B4 you call out others as being Naive

Ok, so the leadership of the 90’s is not relevant to the current leadership of the 2020’s and have you read why it was rejected. You just don’t acceptable a proposal that doesn’t meet some of your requirements.

And you are naive. End of story.

Yes I do, but the Jews in Australia aren’t killing fellow Australians

The “left kills people”??.. WTF?

Who from this left you keep ranting about that kills people in Australia?..

Go on.. Name the terror attacks and killings in Australia undertaken by this “left” you speak of..

We will all await your list..
Your ability to jump to conclusions, change what was said and not be able to join the dots when something is written is impressive. If you can’t figure it out what I was referring to, I’m not going to help you out pal. I have no interest in discussing anything further with you. It’s a complete waste of time. Enjoy your cult!

Highly respected Veteran journalist Michele Grattan not very complimentary to Albanese and his Government.

Grattan on Friday: Anthony Albanese is forced into policy catch up after Bondi atrocity

In an extraordinary personal censure, Australia’s Jewish community effectively denied Anthony Albanese the role of being the nation’s chief public mourner in this week of national tragedy.

In such circumstances, a prime minister would normally attend the funerals of the victims, especially those of a rabbi and a ten-year-old child. But Albanese knew he was not wanted, and indeed might receive a hostile reception. Contrast the warmth of feeling for New South Wales Premier Chris Minns, who was at both services. The government struggled for days with its response to the massacre. Initially, the prime minister emphasised the need for tighter gun controls, and brought together national cabinet to put work in train (although Minns is out in front with state parliament returning next week to legislate).

But that only prompted more anger, with critics seeing it as a side issue to the main problem – that being the failure to have acted more strongly on the antisemitism that has plagued Australia in the past two years. Unlike NSW, there will be no pre-Christmas recall of the federal parliament. The new measures are very complicated to draw up, Albanese says. More to the point, the government doesn’t want to give the opposition another forum to attack it. Opposition Leader Sussan Ley spent much time this week at Bondi and attended funerals. There’s no doubt the Coalition has politicised the tragedy. While this partisanship is unfortunate, it can also be justified.

The opposition, better plugged into the Jewish community than Labor, has said for a long time that more should be done to fight antisemitism. Now the government has, under force of circumstances and with its new measures, accepted that point.

You don’t have to ban guns, you just tighten all the controls. There is a difference.
Disagree these 2 Terrorists would have got their hands on weapons via the black market so intent was their hatred for Jews. Same applies for any other terrorists with intent to massacre Jews, gun laws won't stop them.

Albo needs to tell these terrorists that it is illegal to have firearms in a strongly worded statement. If they dont he will tighten the firearm laws. That will scare them. ;)
What Albanese needs to do most is close down every single one of the hate preachers and come down with the full force of the law on any acts that even hint at anti-Semitism.....but will he? It would likely cost him some votes but what's to lose the reality is the Muslim vote is highly unlikely to ever vote for the LNP.

What I don’t understand is the lefties on here actually dragging what’s happening in the Middle East to this discussion.

You’ve got Islamic terrorists killing Australians, that’s it. The discussion should be “****ing evil campaigners”, not “but hey, what about Israel”.
