The thing is, having a gorgeous wife or not will not change whether somebody feels entitled to have more. If you are wired that way, no woman is going to be enough to stop you wanting more. In fact, it's likely that somebody who is highly motivated by achievement-dating (need to have the hottest women they can get), is even more likely to cheat because they always have a conquest mindset. It comes down to ego. Lachie obviously has a problematic ego that allows him to risk blowing up his family in the name of conquest. Fair to say the "good bloke" era of Lachie Neale is officially over.

You’re not a child psychologist, are you?

If you're having an affair and committing said adultery at one of the houses, surely you plan a time when there's zero chance of being caught in the act, no?

You are crediting Lachie with being able to use his brain. Probably not what he was thinking with.

You cant move interstate without the other persons consent, she cant just move back and move the kids away

She is very wealthy so no doubt she will file for custody and push to take the kids back to WA if she gets approval from the court.

Always knew there was something off about this guy.

In reality most fantastic sporting teams are filled with terrible people. Not sure why anyone thought Brisbane Lions would be any different

Yep. Put 42 random young men together and while majority are probably good people you are always going to have some in those 42 who are complete dickheads. No club would be without them, though I imagine the dickheads who are not super good either get delisted or traded. You only get to be a dickhead and stay if you are really good, so statistically the really good players are more likely to be awful people than the lower level players, if that makes sense.

I suspect being an awful person made it easier for St Kilda to delist Arie Schoenmaker. If he was really likeable they may have given him another year to prove himself, but since he was borderline anyway, being awful just tipped the scales and made delisting him a much easier choice.

It's the same in any workplace.

I've seen many people far more talented than most get let go just because they're just campaigners to work with.

If you make yourself easy to work with people will see past a lot of things.
