His ego would’ve been curbstomped.

Agree he’ll be gone at the end of the year.
No doubt he could end up somewhere on with an actual structure on the cheap, play a role and stick it back up our arse.

Leigh Brown, Luke Ball style.

**** him anyway.

We just send him to the highest bidder. He doesn’t get freedom of choice in this situation he has created. The AFL wants the american shit, we send him to the other side of the country if it means we get a better deal.

None of this nice shit.

I agree with you but it's completely player run atm.

Maybe the players can be personally liable if clubs fail too if they want such a big slice of the revenue pie.

I think he’ll have a good 26.

I doubt he’ll be a North player in 27.

I think it near impossible for him to have a bad year in 26, based on two things, 1) he can play. 2) Every chance we've 6/7 players getting games they don't deserve, will make him look pretty good.

And yep I can see us trying to move him on next season, my hope is we have improved on field performance and we can trade for a player, sick of draft picks. We don't need them.

Bolded for those in the know.

lol could you imagine player salary sliding scale based on ladder position, at least the games end of year would be competitive.
Financially a player is actually incentivised to be on a crap list.

I'm surprised no player has actively chased the wooden spoon dragon. With the salary cap model you could keep shifting to the club with the most cap space.

Given Rawlings knocked back a 2nd round pick this year, a trade for a 4th seems highly unlikely.

Unless Jy stinks it up this year, I suppose. Which is also highly unlikely.

Why he knocked it back without us having to pay any of his ridiculous salary is something I'll never quite understand.

It was a decent off for a turncoat Zhlob.
