Someone posted earlier about her taking up with Neale in the first place.

If Neale was just some battler in the WAFL I doubt Jules would have given him a second look. Reality is many women will look beyond a lot of faults (looks, behaviour, brains) to get with high profile and high earning men. It would not surprise me if she had looked past his extra curricular activities going back quite a while. Look at some of the threads on the Scandals forum and you will read stories of so-called good guys rooting around while attached.

And here is a generalisation about beauticians (and please, let me know if you have had a different experience), I have never met one who was particularly bright. Certainly met a few nutcases though.

It is pretty common when a man cheats on the wife for him to be called a scumbag, selfish and all the rest. A woman does it and the reaction is "Well she just wasn't having her needs met. The husband should have done better."

On that note, it could be that Neale is a scumbag. It could also be that he dug himself into a whole with a crazy wife who was driving him up a wall.

I don't have that much sympathy for her having moved interstate. Doesn't deserve to be cheated on, but I will take some convincing she saw anything in him other than money and profile in the first place.

Very unfortunate for the kids. I really hate it when homes break down like this.
After his first Brownlow, the story was broadcast that he asked her out before he was a senior player, she didn't want anything to do with him.
Things changed when he became a star - she was suddenly able to see his strengths

That too. There's been rumours about neale for years to be fair so she would have known.

Absolutely. Not really that unimaginable as per her statement. Though maybe that was about the ex friend.

Apparently it's well known he's a cheating slimeball.
Allegedly it's been an open secret around Brisbane that he'd sleep with prostitutes.

Suely there are a few, probably more than a few Lions players that have lost some respect for Lachie Neale over this.
I reckon 80-90% of AFL players would cheat on their partners, so I don't think this would have an impact.

Allegedly Lachie made his first move on Jules when he was just drafted and she initally wasn't interested until he started to actually make a name for himself.

People move towns for relationships all the time

I've done it

And those relationships don't always pan out.

That's the way the cookie crumbles.

At least she will be financially better off than 90% of the public.

Footy players in general seem to get married way too young. It's ridiculous.

And people on here seem to feel offended when someone isn't the living the perfect wholesome nuclear family Christian white Xmas they fantasise about.

It's all very amusing.

I don't think it's a 'white' Christian thing...

Lachie has a family... family is broken...

All cultures/religions value family/family unit...

I would actually argue that 'white - Australian' culture values family less than other cultures, such as Asian, Middle Eastern, African, etc., but still values it...

Murdoch media reporting the moving truck is outside the Jules/Neale household as I type this.
Worst Dad In The World Lachie Neale a good shout for another Brownlow? Doesn't need to pretend to care about his kids anymore, so more time to practice handball, kicking, etc.

Divorce is going to be a headache... (Neale deserves some pain however)... 75% of the assets going gonzo and then greedy lawyers everyday. This will be the best chance for his wife to really inflict some pain...

*Kids are young so it's probably not going to hit home yet...

Guys on the field are going to give him stick every minute to break him...

Not a Lions supporter but from the outside Neale seemed like a pretty decent sort of guy, so this is pretty surprising.

Also, Mrs. Neale is a stunner. Every Brownlow night she owns it. Recall a few years ago she was wearing this unbelievable blue dress. Jaw dropped.

Ahhh yeah but see the new girl is good looking too... and she is just fun. No stress, no annoying kids to deal with... Think about it with Mrs. Neale, Lachie has to deal with all the dumb stuff like where is little Piper going to go school, will there be enough activities for kids at the next family holiday ir waiting up in the middle of the night to help the baby boy sleep...

Now it's just fun with a hot brunette... Book a little vacay stay... no kids to worry about, and she will bring some fun toys for Lachie...

I can understand fully why - it's sad.

Huh? She has her own young kid.

In that glorious 2012-2015 early-Neale at the Dockers era, I had heard on a few occasions that he really enjoyed partying with the ladies. Nothing unusual about that - unless he'd been with Jules even back then?

I don't judge anyone for what they do or don't do, but you have to query the timing of it - two small kids, that's a time when a family needs to be the most united.

An overall decent bloke who maybe needs to do a bit of work on himself.

How so?

Were you there?
Have you got eyes? Look at that campaigner. He looks like someone drew eyes on a potato.

Nothing wrong with getting a bit thinner up top but you can't blame your missus for a bit of wandering eye if you're spending all your time down at the pub drinking "froffies" and not enough time at the gym.

Nicky Brownless on the other hand, defo looking after herself I think, what a hottie. She deserved a man more vigorous, strong, someone who took pride in their appearance.

He's a genuine character and a good bloke. You and I don't know if he used to beat her behind the scenes, but I doubt it. Your weird Melbourne bias is all over this, even we dogs can admit Scott West was a shit bloke.

He’s a shit bloke simply for naming his kid Rhylee

Lots of people work in places they can't afford to live in. I don't know if that is the case but working in a wealthy suburb does not mean you are wealthy.
True. But in this case she'd be earning a good amount of money. A loaf of bread there costs you 20 dollars. Full Cream milk goes for 10 dollars a glass!

She used to be a successful hair dresser in Cottosloe, Perth which is a very wealthy suburb.
Im gathering she grew up in the so-called 'golden triangle' of Perth?

I grew up in Perth but never really too connected with that area. Didn't really like the vibe of alot of the western suburb folk in Perth. Eventually moved into the area in my mid 20s. My understanding of why Lachie Neale on why he left Freo initially was the limelight of being an AFL footballer in a hot bed like WA. Being a country lad from SA, the media attention was close. Being in a less-focused AFL state like QLD, less attention and spotlight would be on him- which is something that I think he valued, mind the irony- his own personal space.

This.

What you will find is, its more of a postcode thing. When you mention certain postcodes in Perth- people can automatically say 'business' people or want to do business with them. Food for instance I'd often found better bang for your buck in middle-to-lower class suburbs of Perth than shopping at say Claremont Quarter (a postcode away from Cottesloe)

Perth is like a social bubble- the private school kids in that western suburb triangle had their own warped world. Alot of them haven't escaped WA up until the age of 18 years of age.
