I copped it a bit last week for saying this, but whenever he goes out at 1 Head shows why he should not be our long-term opening solution.

He did not go back-and-across once in that over. His back leg actually inches toward the on-side. He also was clearly not watching the ball.

That leg movement needs to be corrected.

Unconventional does not mean incorrect, and treating things as though there's only a single way to open the batting is rather arrogant.

There's what works and what doesn't. Head's method has worked well enough this series.
