They didn't do their homework. They brought a team and game style for old Aussie conditions. Didn't seem to realise that the ball seams in current Aussie conditions.

I actually like the theory of Bazball, it’s positive, the game always flows, it’s entertaining, 500 runs in a day is terrific cricket.

But, there’s gears in cricket.

Like you said, we set up the bouncy decks & they just went off the cliff.

The repercussions in England will be huge.

If the coach goes, who’s next,
the captain or the Board??

McCullum doesn’t believe in fielding drills. They do a bit of catching but that is all.

You can tell by how many missfields they make in the inner circle. Staggering number of runs leaked this way.

I’d love to know how much of his grand plan was articulated to the ECB during the recruitment process.

How could they be dumb enough to sign off on this shit? I am quite sure Gary Kirsten interviewed as well.
They were more concerned with their soccer skills in the warm-ups...

Yes but the pitch is too green for a 1st day wicket Really hope it settles and we can see some quality batting for once

It’s worse if it’s too much the other way ie flat. Nothing wrong with the pitch

When tail-enders can make 20s and 30s i dont think the deck is too much of a monster

Yep I mean there’s a bit in it but nothing today told me it was unplayable. It’s certainly not an all out 152 and all out 110 pitch

I think our bowlers have decided the series.

We totally owned every major moment.

Any time it was on the line, our guys stood up.
Labs in the field, Trav (twice), Alex in Adelaide.

Lyon doled out 2 heart crunchers in Adelaide.

Been the sum of all parts.

England in the box seat. Will bat last probably on day three on a pitch that has settled down.

Not sure about that but there could possibly be a small advantage in batting last and having a number to chase. If we get bowled for less than a 200 run lead halfway through tomorrow they would have all the time in the world to change up their tactics and grind out a win. Question is...will they do that or just stick to their usual stupid shit?

Not the captain — Stokes is pretty much the only one who plays test cricket like he cares — he’s not much good tactically but at least he leads from the front

Who else could England make captain? Brook is so dozy he pretty much hasn’t held a catch for the series

Edit — Apologies to Joe Root
