Obviously we want to maximise the fundraising. Should we set set a target or keep it open ended? Should it be held in trust for when Beau turns 18, or should Tess have access for maintenance and lifestyle? Relocation costs to WA aren't cheap, nor are WA property prices. I think we should target circa $2 million.

The alternative is her being blamed for it and the media hounding her that she is trying to get Lachie to go back to Perth instead of staying in Brisbane…

I’d just like to take a moment to circle back and bring a bit of attention to something that I feel went under the radar in Jules’ post.

She stated she had been betrayed ‘in the most unimaginable way’.

Now… walking in on your husband playing twister with your best mate isn’t all that unimaginable. Wrong, but not unheard of, let alone unimaginable.

What IS unimaginable… is finding out that your best mates kid, the one you’ve been seeing most weekends, celebrated his birthdays, bought gifts for etc.. is actually your husbands son.

It’s clear as day what’s gone on here, really we’re just waiting for confirmation.

I hope Tess's husband has a strong support network, because the betrayal on Jules behalf is pretty horrible, but raising your mates kid thinking its yours because your wife did the dirty is probably the male equivalent of the R word for women if I'm honest.

Not that the two are that comparable, but as a guy, I couldn't imagine anything more horrific than finding out my kids weren't mine because my wife was unfaithful.


Edit: IF that turned out to be the case here.

Note what I am going to say is hearsay and ‘talk’…

My mate, a lawyer with two years of experience, believes that the buzz at his firm is all about how Jules's actions are very well coordinated, restrained and perfectly timed.

He believes that Jules currently has a team of lawyers drafting her online statements and actions to strengthen her legal case.

Trying to highlight her hurt and pain regarding the ‘assumed’ allegations – saying minimal / as little as possible. Avoiding a dogfight about what ‘exactly happened’ and keep Jules's reputation clear.

Lachie is being pressured to fold and pay up. The club wants this sorted quickly, avoiding media attention and ensuring it doesn't affect his performance.

My mate is even talking about a possible 50% to 75% of Lachie’s assets. He believes they will emphasise that Jules was consistently loyal to the relationship, dedicated all of her time to the kids/family, went through stress/pain during the rounds of IVF, and transformed her life for Lachie and family, including her career, her lifestyle and her location. Not to mention the stress and mental pain she endured and will endure.

He reckons 75% is very much on the table, given the children and how her whole life and world will need to change moving forward rather then a 50% deal / offer from Lachie.

Note – If this is true… Go Jules take him to the cleaners

When there's kids involved I think a 50/50 starting point is rarely on the table. It's more likely going to be 60/40, with 60% to the mother and upwards from there if her lawyers can justify it.

Pure speculation. They could very well have a prenup with both having assets prior to getting together. He bought the million dollar place in North Coogee before he was with Jules. She had a hair studio. They ended up selling up about a year after they moved to Brisbane.

Fair take tbh. And I’d believe it. Had a little mishap a few years ago and had to get a lawyer involved, it was around the time that Lloyd Rayney was getting done for having his wife dumped in Kings Park. In the incessant down time between court sessions my lawyer wouldn’t shut up about it. Reckons the whole legal fraternity was abuzz and everyone knew everything that was going on. So, if lawyers are involved, wouldn’t put it past anyone in the industry to have the juiciest of goss flying past their ears the second it unfolds.

And taking a deeper look at it, there are two types of women involved in this - one is the type that posts side on pics of their half naked body, jumps at the chase to get Insta famous out of it (blue tick certified), and generally makes some poor life decisions.

The other is calculated. If you see her tagged photos, she does upmarket modelling shoots, and as you said, keeps her cards close to her chest throughout this. Jules is calculated, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s planning Lachie’s demise.

A few years ago? More like 15 or 20 years ago!!!!!!! Rayney was innocent. A card of his was found at the scene. As if he'd be that stupid.
