Not sure anyone said it’s a bad thing.
Ginbeys best position is defence. So too is Bo Allen and Hough. Hewetts best position is half forward. CDT as a mobile tall forward in the 2 metre Peter mould that may chip out in the ruck.

All will turn out to be contributors in those positions in a team that will hopefully be decent in time.

From what I see it seems to be West Coast supporters that aren’t willing to accept this, but apologies to those that do.
Ginbeys best position is defence ✅
Bo Allan ❌ you can’t even spell his name right, don’t tell us what his best position is.
Hough ✅
Hewett ❌ clearly haven’t watched his clearance work, has had no preseasons since getting to the club and still had a very good year through the middle.

It’s the equivalent of me going, Lalor isn’t a mid he’s a half forward. Could definitely be a Jack Graham type in time though which would be a good result.

You also can’t even spell his name correctly but for some reason feel qualified to say what his best position is and that it’s not the one he was an U18 AA in.
Mate if he’s a Fyfe clone like you are suggesting he could be I’ll make sure I spell his name right.

Let’s see how he progresses this year with your prediction in mind.

Fyfe, lol.

Did I suggest he’s a Fyfe clone?

What was my prediction?

You offered what would essentially be worst case scenario for his projection based on his abilities, I offered what would be best case scenario. The likelihood is it meets somewhere in the middle.

Mcintosh is a pretty poor comparison given his athletic ability, I’d say Mason Wood/Blake Acres is a better comparison as a floor.

Of course you actually wouldn’t have a clue because you don’t know anything about him.

You said he could end up like Fyfe. Post 1702. I can’t see it myself.

First step will be him playing a similar position. Let’s talk about it if he even gets to that stage.

Big bodied powerful athlete that performed well on a wing as a draftee with suspect disposal could end up like other big bodied powerful athlete that performed well on a wing as a draftee with suspect disposal is hardly the hottest of takes.

You seem insistent Allan isn’t a mid, despite him spending a fair bit of time there at the champs.

Who is a midfielder from Richmond’s young crop bar Smillie by this same criteria?

Reminds me most of Ginbey.

He too played as a defender as a junior before playing as a mid in the champs.

Bears absolutely no resemblance to Fyfe from his junior career or what he’s shown in his debut season.

Is a very different player to Ginbey, Allan played through the middle prior to the champs unlike Ginbey. Both are athletic beasts but Allan more agile/smoother moving whereas Ginbey is a pure power athlete.

You didn’t watch his junior career, you couldn’t even spell his name correctly.

Continually pretending to know about him well enough to make calls on who he’ll be in the future is pretty embarrassing.

Of course though, you’re the same bloke that claimed Ginbey had a below average tank (despite being the fittest at the club) and Allan was slow (despite being fast).

The West Coast Ginbeys it is then.

Sounds like you are saying Lalor is largely an untried mid.

Couldn't say that about failed mid Ginbey. If he keeps turning it over for fun in defence next step scrapheap.

Funny how you guys describe a player who is one step off the scrapheap as elite. Quite laughable really.

One of the first picked.

Multiple draftees come in and reference Ginbey as a standout player training harder than anyone.

Cameron the comps best FF rates him highly.

Richmond trolls desperate for attention. "He's one step away from the scrap heap".

Lol.

How about instead of wasting your time sounding silly you volunteer to provide 24 hour rub downs for Smillie, if anyone is close to the scrap heap its this kid who unfortunately cant stay on the park never mind get a game.

Hope he is training not hitting an opponent on the ribcage every time he kicks it.

The new flex in 2026, like it its so important, 'you cant even spell his name" **** me!

Rubbish. No one’s ever said that.
You just make stuff up and believe it’s true.

But it’s obvious you like to troll considering your comment on Smillie.

Pull your head in or go to the bay to spout your rubbish.
He literally just quoted someone that said that.

Kicking and hitting the target on the chest is bad now?

Ginbey would be in the top 5 kids if he was at Richmond.

You mob are just salty because of a marking contest where Lalor was hurt accidentally.

You need to learn to read.

Ginbey is an arch Sherrin wrecker. Hits oppo players on the chest for fun.

But this is interesting....the person you are pinning your future hopes on, Ginbey, is merely in Richmond's top 5 kids according to you. Leaving aside the fact he isn't for a moment, that is horrendous for Eagles supporters, their great white hope is only in Richmond's top 5 kids according to the Eagles most ardent fan. I am getting 11 more wins in the next 4 seasons vibes out of this.

Someone's forgotten Harley Reid exists, it seems.
