A bit of the interest for the training watchers and the sand dune at the western end.
The club is in talks to take over the land and build an indoor kicking facility to enhance our training facility to keep in line with other clubs and stay - mid ranked in this respect to attract players…
It may be a least a couple of years away though, so contact niece to bring down cardboard boxes flattened out and lid - just watch out for the weeds…
To my disappointment- no return to Freo for our facility - BUT looking to continue our connection to Freo by training at Freo oval at times and possible other connections?? Whatever the fcuk that means ????

So long as we don’t end up at Moss Street, that’s all that matters….

Walker was in rehab for two or three weeks, grinding out the laps.
Was in match sims last week. Performed well in the time I was watching. Running hard, clean disposal skills.

I swear that myself and most of my mates can kick a footy better than most new players coming through for this exact reason.

We kicked the footy to each other every day for our entire childhood and the skills have been build up over time.

No. He has everything else going for him, but being a lockdown defender isn’t one of them. Seriously if he could just take some angry pills before each game and bring the agro I agree he would have it all. Don’t dislike the guy, just want him to get some mongrel.

More seriously on the Walker topic I think he should be best 23. I think if he plays it frees up Ryan/Chapman to intercept and attack more. Not sure if McVee provides enough to make that unneccessary.

The thing with Walker is the player he plays on gets so much attention from the team it’s other peoples players that get off the chain.
Most games I watch you watch him run off his player and someone from behind will take that player eg. Ryan/chappy goes to Cameron leaving their man free walker turns the ball over horrendously and then they transition the ball and Ryan/chappys man kicks the goal. Stats say Cameron had no influence on the game but if you watch Walker he’s at fault for 4/5 goals a game from horrendous turnovers. That’s why no one trusts him or wants him best 22
