Collegians have a couple of x level ins but theyve lost a fair bit of A level. Where did they sit? Personally I think they are still favourites for a top two position but may not be as clear as some are presenting

Have De La picked up any full timers to offset the likes of J Williams et al leaving?
Have been firm on De La being a mid-table finisher this year Mr P and have seen nothing to change that view. There are some recruits but none that will really move the needle* and certainly nobody in the class of Jake Williams. While he missed nearly all last season with injury, Trent Shannon is another fairly significant loss. However player retention has been good and some decent 19s coming through, with several having already being exposed to senior A grade football. Obviously with the drop in class we are hoping to field a more competitive outfit this season.

*Leo Connelly obviously a very well credentialed footballer but dont expect we will see much of him due to VFL commitments.

It is a better list than last year I am told...I am not sure what A level has gone?

Sam Hibbins one of your best for a long time? Dylan Thomas, albeit not a Wesley boy, is a big loss, was named in your best in 33% of your games and kicked 27 goals. Luke Nelson obviously an A grader who's left, Corey Cassidy a good A grade player and of course Matt Warren. Wundke didn't do much but was a good player at OM's. Also hearing Kenny Ong has hung them up?

Matt Warren and Kenny Ong are playing. Dylan Thomas is a big loss, but a reshaped forward line will help offset the goals he kicked last year.

Dylan Thomas is a big loss. Hibbins barely played a game at all in 25. Cassidy was cooked, ripper guy. Agree on Wundke.
Run with Ong and Warren still playing........

There will be two clear standout teams in Collegian and Carey ( the factory!)....the rest of us are playing for the remaining two positions.
Fair bit of Mayo on this. OI would have reason to be favorites, you are very bullish on OGs, Willy always seem to get it done, Beauy sound like they are building a strong list and I'm sure someone else will surprise. Honestly I'm not sure either Collegians or oCar are that far ahead. Collegians were unlucky to relegated and have added a few with Frost the standout but have lost some guns, OCar have added a lot but the majority are VFL listed. I'd worry about the quiet ones. I'm looking forward to another very competitive Prem B

FWIW, not sure about Beauy. Heard a few have left including ruckman Heath. Will be young again.
Borghouts left Carey?

Jimmyjack any word on how De La went in the practise match over the weekend? All those I've spoken to haven't been able to shed any light on how the boys from Dairy Bell went.
I’ve got nothing God Yeah. Must admit I’m not as engaged as I was previously. I’ll tap into those closer to the action and see what I can find out.

Albury will smash them
Hard to get a gauge from practice games. My source was a bit iffy on the actual scores so take this as you will but was reported to me as Albury winning by 17 points in first game (3 x 20) which was primarily seniors. DLS narrowly in 2nd game (2 x 20 min) which was primarily reserves. DLS won the unders by plenty. Many didn't make the trek to Albury and and I assume the home side also had players missing.

Trinity beat OI by 12 points. Game was decided in a 15 minute burst by OT in the 3rd. OI actually won 3 quarters.

Both teams were 100% full strength😜.

OI has 6-7 under 19’s, and they will be better for the run.

Next week will be another big test with OI hosting St. Bernard’s for the 1st time in approx 15 years.

Anderson brothers from OGG's both off to East Malvern (SFNL Div 2). Look like both played a lot of senior footy last season, anyone on here from OGG's to let us know if that's a big loss to fill?

Finished 9/9 last year, will they be around that spot again this season?
