Heath Mellody played an important role in helping Claremont secure victory in last year's Colts grand final. The Bulldogs struggle to handle his potent rebounding run off the half back line, one particular highlight being a running goal in the first quarter that helped Claremont get up and about. His athleticism allowed him to impact defensively in the air and at ground level.
Considered by many to be one of the top prospects from the 2026 WA crop it'll be interesting to see if Mellody gets a move into the midfield this season and how that effects his game.
Sorry bud, not all of us are used to going early.Bit late to the party. I started this at half time against Geelong and people thought it was early.

He is a FA...?We won't have a pick in the draft when we throw 2 kitchen sinks at zac butters![]()
Yep.He is a FA...?
Why do we keep dreaming we are going to get butters and Bailey. They’re both 25ish and will still want to win or win now not start again let’s be realistic. Best we can hope for is draft an uninjured mid thats a gun in draft. Recruit okay ish players to help guide the young crop. Similar to prior to 2017.
Way to kill the dream fun police. Bet you tell us Santa isn't real next.
Whoever we don't draft, apparentlyBest place to get draft news over the last couple of years is this board. Can someone tell me the top 5 prospects besides Cochrane and Walker thanks.
Non club tied I'd say Butler (if he plays mid), van Hattum, van Dyk, Patterson & Edwards.Best place to get draft news over the last couple of years is this board. Can someone tell me the top 5 prospects besides Cochrane and Walker thanks.
Van Dyk always has his knees taped. That count? So, who's the highest rated player with an existing injury?

Couple of smaller medium/undersized KPFs look good too but they dont usually go that high.
Smokey would be Cody Templeton.
Hands off. Going at pick 19 to WCE. Fantastic speed/tank mix and sounds like he’ll be playing some serious midfield time this year.Love the look of that Mellody kid. Real smooth mover and a great name.
The eagles could always split their 1st pick to grab him and anotherHands off. Going at pick 19 to WCE. Fantastic speed/tank mix and sounds like he’ll be playing some serious midfield time this year.
