It is very hard to compare the two and I am not exactly sure what you are asking and/or suggesting but here's what I think. If I remember correctly, Hadley is a bit of a hard-nut ball getter with average footskills, Houlihan is an outside type player with superb disposal by foot.
Anyway, I reckon Hadley should be developed into a defensive midfielder (not a tagger) or running half-back flanker to release 1AW into the midfield. Houlihan's best work is on a forward flank where he can use his creativity and sublime footskills to kick goals or assist other in kicking them. Hoops should line up every week on the oppositions attacking HBF (Shaw, Gilbee, McLeod etc).
But i don't think there is a spot on the list for houlihan to hide anymore, time to hit out or get out![]()
Did you see his game against Adelaide at The Dome this year? Also, if he can be good for 3+ goals a game, which he has been plenty of times, I wouldn't mind as much about his accountability as his opponent will be the one that will have to start being accountable.I agree with everything until your last sentence.
I don't think Hoops is accountable enough for this role, whereas somelike like Carazzo can play this role very well -take his man out of the game and still get plenty of the ball himself.

Am i the only one that can't remember what type of a player
HADLEY is.
Does anyone have any footage
I had him in my dream team this year so watched his games with keen interest.
You guys did well picking up Hadley - should be handy. But I was just looking up his stats for this year in Brisbane and noticed that the Lions only won 2 of the 14 matches when Hadley played, but won 7 out of 8 when he was out.
I'm not even sh** stirring, just thought they were interesting numbers.
Just curious as to how your dream team faired?
Faired fairly fairly for firsttimer fanx
id say more of a defensive HFFYeh defs houts in the foward line. Him and Hadlee i thik are two diffrent players. Hadlee is more of a defensive midfilder while Houts i believ is much more suited to an attack midfiler HFH position
Long time since you started a thread on the player you claimed you knew was going to be traded. How's your good mate Pratt's car washer. Troll! As we need a strong defensive midfielder, and this will help Houla apparently star in the forward-line like all you geniuses out there believe he will!
Not this is at all relevant to this thread, but I just thought everyone should know: Houlihan is better than Carrazzo.
Feel free to abuse me, but deep down you all must know this is true.
Go Houlihan.![]()
?????
Totally different players, but imo yes! he has strength and a defensive side to his game.
