The boys were friendly and said they were going to big farewell party for JK that night and said JK was very well liked by the group.

Mild dilemma here. I often think about comments like this one when something is patently pointless to me. At best it might start a half dozen posts re: good on you JK, JK you was dudded mate, etc. I try to control myself however as sometimes I tend to get a tad negative on here and everyone is due their own thoughts I suppose. Should we denounce threads or posts that we consider useless or do even the most marginally interesting topics deserve some sort of respect?

But having said that i reckon its inevitable that he'll be booed, perhaps not to the same extent as Juddy by the west coast supporters... but nonetheless he is an ex-carlton player and regardless of the circumstances of leaving, ex players tend to get booed no matter how well liked they were at their original club.

Will any of u guys boo JK or do u save it for the Hamill/Camporeale types?

I think JK's leaving is a lot different to Hamill or Campo. Why on earth would anyone want to boo JK?

There is no way any Carlton supporter should boo JK.
Even if you didn't like him much when he was at Carlton, he did his best for our club while we had him.
Its unfortunate, but he had to go for us to get Judd. Buisness is buisness but i'll definately cheer JK when he plays for the West Coke Eagles.

Leave the kid alone he will be a top player just Pagans shit development stuffed him up. As if you play a chf 195 cm kid in the ruck give him a break he should of played every game this yr across the HF line getin experience. He was one of the boys who made the pledge last April and it was a pitty he didnt get 2 stay on and play. We should try pik him up in the future. All the best 2 u JK

the great thing is that threads are loosely based on interest. if there's no interest, it falls off the front page and you generally don't see it.

i think it's working well and this automatic system has my full support.
