Match fixing? Oh my god, you have been watching too many conspiracy movies.

Which players threw a match? Point them out to me.

Dont act so naive, everybody is fully aware that Carlton indirectly lost all of those matched on purpose in order to recieve the priority pick. Swann said as much on radio and then retracted his statments a few days later. I think it is ludicrous to suggest that players would deliberatley throw matches (tank) but there is no doubt that team selections, coaching tactics and lack of pressure on the field attributed to this long losing streek. I find it highly amusing that the same Calton supporters who were cheering on there team to lose are now the same ones denying any wrong doing on the part of there club. Even former greats of your club came out and supported losing in order to get a priorety pick. Its a sad state of affairs if you ask me. I am not a huge fan of Terry Wallace but i admire the fact that he was not afraid to publicy say how the system comprimised him as a coach and that something needs to be done about it. Atleast he doesnt have his head in the sand like many Carlton supporters including yourself.

No he didn't. He said as Terry Wallace said, that it would be in the team's best interest to not win, not that they were aiming to do that.

Absolute rubbish. Everyone including Carlton supporters know that the system is a sham. We work within the system we have though.

In all reality, if Carlton played any other sport in the world they would of been thrown out of the league, the coaches etc. facing criminal charges and the club would no longer cease to exist. Funny how things are so different in the AFL.

Could you give a few examples of teams and the leagues they were kicked out of?

We ment to loose our last six against the saints on a four game winning run, the pies who pushed geelong, Port in adelaide who made the granny, kangaroos at the dome who finished top four, Kevin Sheedy and Hirds last game at the g, and then had 11 of our first 22 unavailable against melbourne.

Surely if you think we were better than Port, Collingwood, the saints and the kangaroos this year, but lost on purpose, then you saw a different carlton play to the one i pay membership to!

The root of the problem is the AFL system - it sucks and rewards poor performance....as long as it is around any team with long term views on the world would take advantage. You would be a fool not to!!!!

How about your pathetic excuse for a club go out and find a couple of sponsors and stop being a drain on the finances of the other clubs that contiue to prop you up .....The dogs are the team that should be pushed out of Victoria ..not the Roos . The only problem is nobody anywhere would support such a rabble of a basket case.

Carlton can attract sponsors ..It's a shame the only thing your club can attract is flys .

Apparently Lexus sponsors some small club, pretty low profile but.

Lexus are not one of Collingwood's major playing sponsors but own the naming rights to the Lexus Centre. Also Lexus is owned by Toyota so not a major conflict of interest for them.
