I think that

Chris Rogers has to be the next open if mike hussey does not open

imo this is the order of the openers to replace langer

1. Rogers
2. Jewell
3. Maher
4. Jaques

Arnberger would have been 3rd if he played this year
what? maher? jewell?! hahahaha

State player of the year and rightly so, surely they have to give him the baggygreen after that. He might want to work on his public speaking though!

I know it's only early days but Chris Rogers needs to learn that when you get a shocking decision like he did today, you have to linger at the crease to let everyone know you don't like the decision.
Once you have played a fair few more tests you are then entitled to make it public knowledge via the media that it was a shocker of a decision and clearly the umpire cheated.
If you progress on to be one of the greats, you are then quite within your rights to stand your ground, shake your head and then make your batting partner walk off with you in protest. (We call this "doing a Gavaskar".)
Of course once your career is over, you are then able to be openly critical of any decision you don't find to your liking and put enough pressure on to get an umpire sent home in disgrace, regardless of whether he makes a mistake or not.
Luckily for Rogers, he is making his debut against the Indians, perfect role models for him as he makes his progression.
Watch, listen and learn Chris, to the best in the business.

I'm slightly going to side with Eddie here. The umpire could've given that out or not out. It's true that you can the leg stump, so the umpire may have thought that there was no way the ball wouldn't of hit the stumps.

Leg stump exposed, ball straightening, will always be given, even Hawkeye had it clipping which usually means it would have cannoned into middle :p

India have had worse decisions against them this match. The Tendulkar LBW decision was really bad as the ball was going way over the top of the stumps.

ohhh. well at least hawk eye showed it was hitting the stumps... unlike, tendulkar, dhoni. lol
ol.

Let's quit the bickering about who gets what bad decision. Yes, Tendulkar's could have been not out, but then you could say he should have been out LBW to Symonds much earlier, Dravid was given not out when he was plumb, Dhoni was hard done by, Rogers was unlucky. These types of decisions are always going to pop up when you have a mode of dismissal that is based on the umpires opinion. The will even out and for each one you claim you were hard done by, someone could bring up another where you were lucky. It is as much part of the game as fast bowling and classic catches. Let's just move on.

They also copped a favourable one as well with Dravid being hit dead in front and inexplicably given not out

Correct eddie, expose your leg stump and you are out IF the ball straightens, have another look, the ball was going down legside, not straightening.
Maybe you are looking through Eddie the Eagle's coke bottom glasses?
