#lolnorf pump artificial crowd noise into their theme song.. I wonder how the AFL has edited theirs?

At the present moment in time, we are the best Australian Football Club in the world, by any measure. Off the field, we have the highest membership. On the field, we are the best team in the highest level of competition worldwide

Carlton have a similar number of members and a similar quality team as #lolnorf, who should really be in Tasmania.

We have Bay 13 for that.

The problem is that there are people who just want to have a dip for no other reason than to get a negative reaction.

It's shitposting. It's trolling. If we can steer people away from that, the board is better to read. It's more interesting.

You're hilarious jape about the poos and wees or #lolnorf isn't interesting to anyone. It's old. It's unoriginal. It's not funny. It makes people have to scroll past your insult and the four people who bite. Two pages later and all we have left is people who want to fight, not post interesting footy talk. The people who are actually funny and interesting have switched off.

If you think being unable to bait and troll with repetitive shitposting makes the main board less interesting to you, then my job is done :thumbsu:

I suppose the take away here is: We're probably not as funny as we think we are.

To start us off. Norf can't get anyone to go to their games so are now offering 11 game memberships for the price of a 3 game membership.

I don't believe anyone cares what you take seriously. Especially us reigning premiers.

Not this century. Spoons. Carlspoon 4 > Richmond premiers 1

Stick to modern times, not ancient history. Otherwise someone will bring up your proven systemic salary cap cheating. Come last but don't get the 1st pick. How does that work? Oh that's right, because you cheated. It's imbued in carltons dna, a sense of entitlement that cost you dearly. Thank god for John Elliott who helped make a once proud club a laughing stock for a generation. Even the boohoo blues supporters still haven't come out of the cubby house. A once big 4 club now a minnow, similar to #lolnorf

If you are the reigning premiers you can puff whatever you like, whenever you, to whoever you like. Get used to it.

Rioli - Bolton, I think this is easy, like for like, and Bolton has played that role for the JLT series
Houli/Broad - Both back 6 so I put them together - Short will be one, played 16 games last year, unlucky to miss, and has played well in JLT. I'm not sold on it, but I think Conca will be the other. Played back 6 (and to his credit played really well) until hurting his foot last year, so I think they will go with him. It is 2 smalls for a small and medium, but I think Short can move to a wing and Kmac to HB if running medium (in Broads mould) is required.
Prestia - Cellis. Whether you or I like it or agree with it doesn't matter, he has been given that role all preseason, and been given it ahead of Lloyd, so I can't see the selection committee suddenly reversing it for Round 1.

The only spot, IMO, Lloyd would be inline for is Rioli's, but Bolton has done enough, and pressure isn't exactly Llyods go to, so I don't think he gets a go. I highly doubt hes in the conversation for the other spots to be honest because I doubt he could play the role required.

In fact I would guess Moore is also in front of Lloyd for selection for round 1, performed better at AFLX, and had more impact in limited time in JLT2 (even if it was against #lolNorf).

Lloyd has proven, IMO, that he has reached his limit, and the club have given him plenty of opportunities to cement a spot in the last 2 years, and that hasn't happened. I assume from here he will be used like Miles, sparingly.

He was given a chance in AFLX (which is shit I admit) but was outperformed by most, mainly young kids, and when given his chance in JLT, he didn't do enough. I think what is his problem now is that he thinks he has to play like Dusty to keep his spot, and too often he doesn the selfish type thing rather than the team base thing and it costs him, as usually it goes wrong. I thought that was clearly evident in his AFL games last year, and a few occasions against #lolNorf last week.

I get you don't rate Cellis, and that's fine, but I would put a handful of kids into this line up before Lloyd (and Miles). You ask to play best 22 and Lloyd doesn't appear to be that.
