    Player Watch #26: Luke Parker

I still can't believe Luke Parker is a North Melbourne player

Player Watch #20: Nick 'Souva' Larkey - 2026 NM Captain

Not a critique of what you said - I actually agree, mostly. But just curious moreso on the playing group that Nick now leads - his onfield demeanour is not surprising, and completely consistent with the past so far, so why would the playing group vote him as captain if his demeanour negatively...

Player Watch #12: Jy Simpkin [Part II] - staying at North in 2026 + won't feature in leadership group as Larkey set to be named captain

Wow, can't believe Simpkin's already played 184 games! Simpkin, Larkey, and Zurhaar all debuted in 2017 - basically the start of one of the darkest eras in North's history, and has played through every year of that era. Just on that, I have a lot of respect for the three for sticking with North...

Preview Changes and pre match discussion vs Adelaide [Thursday teams - no change!]

The Roos will win comfortably - everything will come to a boiling point - the frustration of the past few weeks, 15 years without a win in Adelaide, etc. This young group has been building and they will be hungry to get back on winning terms.

Unofficial Preview Changes and pre match discussions vs ..sigh... Geelong at the f**king bowling alley

Had to double check Hojuman but North indeed won at Pork Barrel stadium in 2015, and that was the last time. Only thing I remember from that game is the emergence of a 19 year-old Trent Dumont who came on late to ice the game with a classy goal. The record in Adelaide is deplorable. As someone...

Unofficial Preview Changes and pre match discussions vs ..sigh... Geelong at the f**king bowling alley

North haven't beaten Geelong since R15 2015. Haven't beaten Geelong at Kardinia Park since R4 2015. I didn't watch the Port game last week, but how did Port beat Geelong? What can North take from that game into this one?

Player Watch #47: Cooper Trembath - signed end '26 - 17 goals in first 7 games - Rising Star nom Rd4 - re-signed until the end of 2029

Had to check it up as Neitz was 21 at the time, but was already All-Australian the year before! Quality opposition indeed. Same with the Essendon game in 99, Duck dominated Fletcher, Wallis, and an entire Essendon backline that was the 2nd best side that year in terms of points allowed...

Player Watch #47: Cooper Trembath - signed end '26 - 17 goals in first 7 games - Rising Star nom Rd4 - re-signed until the end of 2029

As impressive as Trembath has been this season, I'm disappointed that he is only averaging 2.2 goals/game compared to 3.0 last year. In fact, he averaged 4.3 shots at goal AND 0.7 goal assists/game last year. This year? Only 2.7 shots at goal and a measly 0.3 goal assists/game. 2nd year blues...

    AFLW NMFC AFLW 2025 | 27 straight wins | 29 games unbeaten | Back to Back premiers 2024/25 | Invincibles | KLWT is a Roo w/ #37

Awesome analysis. There is a clear 'big four' in the AFLW and it's completely different to the traditional big four of the AFL. Refreshing.

    Preview 2025 Brownlow thread

If North ever get good, Sheezel surely wins at least one Brownlow. He is tailored-made for this award.
